Performance on this console is great, I have played Black Ops 7, Death Stranding 2, Expedition 33, Demons Souls, Warhammer 40,000 Space Marine 2, and Silent Hill 2 so far on this PS5 Pro and all of the games look and run phenomenally! I love this console very much and only have 2 complaints about it: price, and lack of a disc drive for the market price. Overall, you get great performance, great storage speed and capacity at 2TB, the console is very quiet as well. The issues come in when you look at the price. Originally starting at $700USD, the console was a bit much, worse is the fact that it does not come with a disc drive for the already very high price tag. Secondly the console not only had a price bump one time, but two times! The console went from $700USD at launch to $750, then later its currently $900, all still without including a disc drive or even a vertical stand. I cannot justify purchasing this console for current market price ($900USD), but it you can get it near its launch price, its pretty great.

It's expensive but after a few months of owning it, I can definitely say that this is the best console on the market. Not everyone may care but the quality is undeniable. It's hard to look at my friends standard consoles. Key advise, don't buy it unless you have a TV/monitor that uses its full potential. Oh and the 2th of storage alone makes that price eatable, because extra storage is expensive too. Overall it was worth it for me.

This console is really fast and the graphics are amazing!! The only thing I did not like is that I had to purchase the disc drive separately.

Amazing product, literally changed my gaming experience

Works great and is fast. Only bad thing I've noticed is that ever since I switched over to the pro, Borderlands 4 has been crashing almost everyday. I've reinstalled the game and cleared the cache but it continues to crash.

The playstation 5 pro was the best decision I ever made. I traded in my playstation 5 for it. The difference between the two is definitely worth the money!

Literally only bought one because my previous ps5 crapped the bed. The Liquid Metal totally fried everything on the inside. Why market it as being able to set it vertically if that’s not what it’s meant for? Absurd. Anyway. Only bought this one in hopes my experience will be different this time around. You’d think a company like this would do better about certain issues, but I guess in a way they did. They included feet to set it horizontally and now you have to buy the stand separately. I guess that’s their “fix” huh? I’m salty about it because $500 isn’t cheap, and it only lasted about 2 years. But here’s to hoping this more expensive one will do better….?

Upgraded from base PS5, 100% woth it, more storage, better performance.

Ive had a ps5 since they were released, and finally decided to upgrade and this this is amazing. I love the quick load times.

It’s a good system upgrade but my only complaint is that the price. It do make games look a lot better but it’s not worth getting for some people because of the 700 price tag. For 700 busks it should have came with the disk drive. Also it should have been more power than what the specs are. But besides that it’s a good system

I bought this back in October, Bestbuy was having a promotional sale at that time of any purchases $400.00 and up, you would have interest free payments for 12 months. And the good thing about the promotional sale i have until January 14th, 2025 to return the PS5 Pro if i dont like it, so it's like getting a two month free rental of the ps5 pro to try it out. Sorry for that long intro, should anyone who reads this, purchase ps5 pro well yes and no. If you want a console with the best graphics then yes purchase it because there are ps5 games that i play, that i can see the extra graphics power of the pro coming thru on my screen. But, if you already have the original ps5 or ps5 slim, you are good with keeping those consoles cause the graphics are still good on those systems. Outside of a few games that take advantage of ps5 pro extra graphics, the games do not look that much better. And then there's the price of $757.97 that you will pay in total for this. $757.97 is alot to pay for marginal graphics upgrade. The only reason i purchase my is for the upcoming games like GTA 6 that. I like my pro but i am thinking about returning it.

Truely I would give this 4.5 stars because for the price, it should have come with the blu-ray drive by default. Overall this is a great upgrade from the PS4, thought of going with the stock PS5 but you do get 2Tb drive as oppose to the 1Tb of the stock PS5. Playing enhanced games on my Hisense 8UN is awesome.

I was going to buy a memory upgrade for my PS5 due to having to keep deleting and downloading games. Just go annoying and 2 of the games I had downloaded took 80% of the storage so I was kind of stuck. I bought the PS5 Pro with a $50 discount and used the Best Buy trade in program for the PS5. When you compare that to the cost of a new SSD for the PS5 came out to being out of pocket about an additional $150 to $200 which is not a huge amount to me. The performance is a little better on the big budget games, but have not found anything significant just yet. Overall, I am hoping the PS5 Pro keeps me going for a while and I think I am going to go Pro to Pro going forward when they come out with PS6 to PS7.
