The PS5 Pro is fantastic. Games look incredible, with sharper detail and smoother performance compared to what I’ve seen on the standard model at friends’ places. Load times are practically instant, and it handles 4K gaming beautifully. Even after long sessions, the system stays quiet and cool. It’s just been a really solid experience all around.

I love the design and I can clearly see the difference with higher frame rate and resolution. Last of Us and Horizon games look beautiful. Other games such as Stellar Blade and God of War plays very smoothly and detailed. I can't wait to see more PS5 Pro Enhance games, I'm loving it.

If you haven’t bought a PS5 yet, I’d honestly recommend spending the little extra and going straight for the Pro. The performance boost is noticeable, especially if you have a newer TV, and it just feels more future-proof for the next few years of games. Load times are great, gameplay is smooth, and everything feels a bit more polished overall. It’s not a "must upgrade" if you already own a PS5, but for first-time buyers this is easily the best way to jump into the PlayStation ecosystem without wondering later if you should’ve waited. I own a fat PS5 and an Xbox Series X, and had the money to upgrade to this console. The price is cery high, so it is not for everyone in that regard, but also in what the console provides. The console offers more power in both of the consoles I mentioned, and it is quite noticeable with a 4k tv, as the games in quality mode are incredibly crisp, something that the regular PS5 struggle to do so a lot compared to the Xbox Series X, and takes it to a higher level compared to the Series X, but the most noticeable power increase from both consoles are in the performance modes in games, 60 fps as usual with these consoles, but with far more features from the quality mode as a higher upscaled 4K and some extra bits in some games like Ray Tracing. And to hardcore competitive gamers, this console goes a lot higher than 80-90 FPS in most fps games. Overall, if you have the money and a 4K and or 120hz TV or monitor, yes- and if you are patient, maybe wait for the PS6, but even then, seeing the PS4 still kept alive, getting any PS5, specially this one, doesn’t seem like a bad choice.

I noticed significant performance differences in comparison to the Base PS5. The processor and fan are much more efficient, and the storage base is a bit larger than the PS5. Loading screens obviously load much quicker. I recommend playing the PS5 Pro Enhanced titles like KCD2, Balders Gate 3, and Dead Island 2.

It’s clear Sony is laying the foundation for whatever the principles and philosophy of PlayStation 6 will be with the PS5 Pro. PSSR, their up-scaling, AI-machine learning proprietary design, allows the system to enhance games and do much of the heavy lifting without needing developers to implement things in a way that costs time and money. The additional TB of storage capacity over the regular PS5 is a nice addition that I think is overlooked as well. The system is shockingly small and rather quiet for a machine that is so powerful and capable of extraordinary output. I could be playing Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 multiplayer for hours and the PS5 Pro would remain as quiet as it was when I turned it on for the day. The design of the system is sleek and fits nicely with any console entertainment setup you might have.

I love the new PlayStation five it’s super fast to start up, everything loads quickly and has so much storage like I have all my games and still have so much storage left over. Also, the controller battery life lasts so much longer. my games look so much more clear and crisp compared to when I was playing on my PS4. i’m so happy with this new system and I’m sure anybody who gets it will be to.

I purchased this in anticipation of GTA 6. I already had a launch PS5, so i was skeptical of the improvements this sustem could make. The upgrade from ps4 to ps4 pro was pretty clear, and this didnt wow me from the presentation to purchase day one. Well, ghost of yotei has released and the ray tracing pro setting using the ps5 pro’s PSSR upscaler is a game changer. I switched back from native 4k that runs 30fps, to the pro raytracing that AI upscales to 4k and runs 60fps witb ray tracing. Even in the smallest details I cannot tell a difference its not native 4k. Plus running 60 fps with the raytracing, its a truly incredible machine!

If you have a large 4k VRR TV you will appreciate this console a lot. The picture quality is amazing with supported games, standouts are all the Spiderman games and Horizon. Other games with un-capped frame rate options benefit greatly like Elden Ring, allowing you to run it in its quality mode at much higher fps. However, if you have a 48in 4k TV, or a 1080p TV and just want a console, I would go with the standard PS5, as it will be harder to distinguish the visual upgrades. There are some games that use better fidelity effects with the improved hardware, but most of what this console is about is delivering a sharper image with better performance.

Currently loving my Playstation 5 Pro. I’ve had it for about a month and have enojoyed every single aspect of it. From the high resolution display, the lightining fast loading times, ability to keep high frame rates on graphic-heavy games and overall better perofrmance that the Playstation 5 Slim I had.
