I think the upgrade was worth it. Me and my gf like to play Minecraft together and the old ps5 would crash significantly enough that I wanted something more powerful. Haven’t had any issue and I could notice a difference immediately in gameplay.

Runs really well, no crashing. Graphics are good as well, definitely better than the standard version

Upgraded from the original ps5 (got it day 1 drop). Absolutely love this Pro, super fast, clean gameplay, quiet etc. I have to get used to not having a disk reader but even then i can buy the plug in one. Not a dealbreaker for me. The pro is worth every penny imo.

The performance boost is really noticeable if you are planning to do 4K gaming. If not then the PS5 base might be what you're looking for.

Unbelievable performance!! Playing games like Days Gone and AC Shadows look amazing since they are PRO Enhanced especially AC Shadows exploring the wild is amazing with upgrades from the PS5 PRO.

I got this console for myself, an upgrade from my original PS5. I love this console I can see the difference and am super happy about my purchase! I would recommend this console even to someone with the original. It’s an upgrade for sure.
