This was a terrible experience. You'd think a tech store would have a better tech experience for their customers. I purchased this item three times online and one time in the store. Every time my purchase was canceled for NO REASON. I spent hours on the phone with terrible customer service and no one could help me. I finally gave up and purchased the item from another retailer.

Not worth the extra money just get the slim PS5 or any one besides this cause it is not worth the extra $300

I ordered new they sent me openbox. Store had no replacement. Had to drive to store to return item. Dissapointed in whole ordeal.

PlayStation Pro was delivered by Roadie to wrong address that was clearly no where close to mine. Now I can’t even get customer support from Best Buy. It was delivered on a Sunday.

So far the upgrades aren't that amazing. Some of the games definitely look and play better, but nothing new has come out that has blown me away yet.

Yea save the $300. Get the non pro non disc version. The non disk $400 version is where its at if ur not about to buy every disc game nor even have an expensive $1K+ screen, the best home internet set up, etc to enjoy the specs lol. So this ended up being a “cuz i can” purchase.

The major cons are: the price, the graphics are hardly an upgrade, the fps is hardly improved on a majority of the titles, and only a few titles actually see a difference. With knly two years left i dont get the poiint of spending the cost of this thing when it isnt much better than the 5 overall. Im so glad i returned mine

Purchased this in Nov of 2024 and July 2025, it just stopped turning on. PlayStation sent me a refurbished replacement. For all of that, i could’ve bought a refurbished console for cheaper in the first place.

The product never arrived. They lost it, and my little brother was left without his game.

I don’t like that it does not have the disc drive. If you never opened a ps5, then get it

System is great but dont need to pay this kind of money for a ps5 pro not much differece between regular ps5 thag you get more for yoir money

I couldn't register it. When I called the master, I found out too late that they didn't give me the access code that the store gives me.

I bought the PlayStation pro with cash instead of with my credit card and Best Buy refused togive rewards points as I did not use their credit card,I have shopped at this stores for years and have always gotten points for shopping here.I will no longer shop at Best Buy and will go else where as there is no perks for shopping here

Total waste of money no difference from ps5 And it doesn’t even have disc drive

If you already have a Ps5 keep it. Upgrading to a P55 Pro there is no difference from a regular pS5

Not best buy fault. They were 5 stars amazing. Playstation yhemselves though locked my husband out of his own very old account and wouldnt tell him why or give him a chance to prove he was in fact himself. He had tons of games, movies and things he had purchased over the years, just gone. So now, Playstation has one longstanding loyal customer gone.

It is not worth it, it is very expensive for what it offers, it is better to buy a PC

Best Buy gave me an open box item without informing me. I did curbside pickup so of course I didn’t realize until I got home. 2.5 hours later and customer service says to return it. So inconvenient. Next time I’m choosing a retailer who won’t give me an open box item when I purchase it new.
