Better visuals and frame rates plus extra storage. This thing rocks!

A great performing system. If this version of the PS5 is for you, depends on factors like your budget, what your gaming priorities are and what kind of TV or Monitor you have. You won't get a generational leap in graphics and the lack of a disc drive is lame, but you will get more graphical options with optimized titles and plenty of ssd storage for games. Also, I assume future game releases will be able to take more advantage of this baby's extra horsepower.

Runs well super fast download times with that SSD.

Upgraded from the original PS5 and I’m in love with the PS5 pro! I will say: make sure your tv can support a lot of the added features before you make your decision whether it’s worth the extra cost. Things like 120hz, VRR, ALLM etc are new features that will only work if your television is compatible. Also, make sure you buy an external disc drive if you plan to play physical games!

The menus in most games work a lot faster than on the PS5. In games you get more FPS if the game supports it, as long as you have a TV with more than 60Hz. aside from that, very comparable to the PS5 the 2TB storage is very nice.

This is hands down the best gaming console you can get today. Yes, it’s pricey compared to other options, but it delivers on its promises. It’s also rumored to be the unofficial console of choice for the upcoming highly anticipated GTA VI. Why is that exciting? PlayStation’s Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR) is getting an update soon this year just before some other heavy hitter games. PSSR has been great, delivering what consoles of this generation have promised but failed to do: 4K gaming with high frame rates consistently. It’s genuinely impressive how well the AI in PSSR works to deliver outstanding detail. And this is coming from a former Xbox fanboy. The Series X didn’t excite me anymore and I felt like Sony was cooking up something good with the PS5 Pro. I’m definitely satisfied. Can’t wait for PSSR to release as it’s said to upgrade older games as well and improve further on clarity and boost frame rates. This year will be amazing for console gaming.

its really awesome!!! so much faster and better graphics!!! plus I finally get 8k on my 8kTV. Am I a hardcore gamer? Absolutely not!. But when the opportunity comes to have some time to relax and play a game having a great experience matters. I traded in my ps5 slim for this and im def happy.

Awesome console, upgraded from the OG PS5 of 4 years old. I play Wukong on it and the graphics appear to be much smoother, clear and crisp using Sony's AI upscaling to boost games to 4K while maintaining a higher frame rate like Nvidia's DLSS. Some games might run at up to 120 frames per second, a much needed upgrade IMHO. WiFi 7 and 2TB SSD storage is a plus as well. I highly recommend the upgrade!

As soon as the system is turned on and providing you have the right tv, (I run my PS5's on LG OLED TV's Only), the difference is noticed immediately, the uploads and downloads, the games start up speed, the picture is off the charts amazing as well as the responsiveness of the game is quicker, I'm truly glad that I purchased the PS5 Pro.

Very fun to play on. Does give a great improvements over the original PS5. Also has 2tb of storage. Only downside is the price and lack of a disc drive.

The perfect PlayStation console available, honestly if you’re looking to get a PlayStation you should save extra to get this one both the digital and disc version only have 1TB this one has 2TB and with the size of games going up thats gonna be needed and saves you from buying a internal SSD drive for extra space.

Gift for my grandson for his birthday and he loves it that has better graphics, more memory, and is faster expensive but I got it on sale, he plays it all the time. He can play with his friends online and talk to them through the controller

Upgrading from a base model ps5, i was a little skeptical on how much of a difference there would be. While i will say this is certainly a luxury item that by no means is needed if you already have a base ps5, if you like the extra power to smooth out frames on any game or get some better graphics i think this does it very well and is a solid upgrade. Along with the extra storage you get, i dont think the extra price hike is all too bad. Overall, Im happy with the purchase.

Traded in my ps5 for ps5 pro. They gave me a fair value and process was fairly simple. Happy with the upgrade as far as graphics and speed. Also the VR experience is notably better.

Initially i wasn't going to upgrade from the original ps5 to the pro, but after consideration i did, and i'm glad i did, the pro has alot more space as well as it has better specs respectively, both resolution and graphics have been improved compared to the original ps5, and the load times seem to have lessened considerably. Definitely a good investment if you're looking to switch.
