I've had the PS5 PRO since launch. For me it's a big improvement over the base PS5. Most game consistently hit 60 fps with a higher quality image with less artifacting. Games that struggled to stay in VRR window before manage to do so. The Pro works well in 120 Hz mode. My only complaint is that Playstation had an opportunity to add n higher bandwidth HDMI 2.1 output. So games in 120 Hz mode lose some of the higher color detail. So I mostly play most games at 60 Hz. I also think this was a missed opportunity to add a Low Framerate Compensation mode. Otherwise I'm impressed with what the PS5 PRO does. It helps improve games with variable resolutions and improves games that struggle to hit their framerate targets. Of course most PS5 PRO enhanced games are a big improvement. PS5 PRO is a big improvement if you have a 120 Hz VRR TV or not. You will get more out of it with a higher refresh set.

Runs great, incredibly fast and does not overheat. Game performance and graphics are incredibly smooth.

I’ve owned the PS5 Pro for about 6 months. So far it’s working great. I also have an Xbox Series X. The graphics seem to be about the same but for my surround sound set up the PS5 sounds a little better. One of my favorite things is that you can access Apple Music and listen to your playlists while playing a game.

Excellent graphics compared to the PS3 or PS4. Speed is wicked fast.

It runs faster and quieter than the PS5. It also has better image quality.

Got this at a great price for BF6. A lot more than what I expected. Thought it would take some adjustments getting use to the new controller but it is a lot better than the ps4 controller.

Awesome console with excellent storage. Took advantage of the trade in promotion to upgrade from base ps5 to the pro, and it was worth the effort. If you have an oled tv, it will enhance the experience of owning a ps5 pro.

The playstation 5 pro was the best decision I ever made. I traded in my playstation 5 for it. The difference between the two is definitely worth the money!

I had owned the base PS5 from the release in 2020. I traded that in for a very good return of $300 and upgraded to PS5 Pro. I see a huge difference in performance and Quality.

great upgrade from standard ps5. Biggest negative is that it didn't include a disc drive. I am playing ghost of yotei and gt7 smoothly at 60 fps.

If money is tight, stick with your standard PlayStation 5. If you have the money, go for the Pro is you want the best looking console performance in the market. While not all games utilize the PS5 Pro to its full potential, you are at least given the chance to play games with far higher graphical fidelity with better frame-rate (as long as you also have a TV supporting VRR and what not). Now with the recent RAM shortages and PC parts rising in prices, for someone who simply wants to game, I recommend a PS5 or PS5 Pro. But if you have a PC that is on par, perhaps wait a year or so and you'll see those PS5 exclusives come to PC as well (as we have seen with God of War and other exclusives). All in all, PS5 Pro is a great console if you can afford it!

I only play with the PSVR2 and specifically GT7. The graphical and overall experience enhancements from this title alone justifies the cost. This is subjective to my opinion and use case, the image is clearer and ghosting is mostly non existent which until I experienced the Pro, didn't realize how distracting it was. If you play GT7 and happen to also have a PSVR2, then this is a must have, I'd say even before a rig, the controller experience is top notch.

Price is steep but there's definitely a small improvement in performance. With the right TX, the visuals definitely are more vivid. Wish more games were enhances. GT7 is my main game and the smoother frame-rates in quality mode were worth it to me

Going from a PlayStation 4 pro to a PlayStation 5 Pro was a night and day difference in graphical fidelity, performance and color depth! Playing my old purchased games in my PlayStation library and seeing the performance difference is unreal!!! Love everything about it so far.

Love it better graphics better storage and good console to use

I would recommend it to anyone with a high end tv so that you can get the most out of the performance boost. On any mid-range tv you won't be able to tell the difference from a standard ps5. The new design and the extra storage are nice to have as well.
