The rating is more about what Best Buy "sold" than actual experience with the console. That side has been great, and I can tell the "little" differences from the normal PS5. Best Buy's definition of "Open Box - Excellent", however, left a lot to be desired. The box was destroyed, missing items, and looked very unloved. Support told me to talk to the store since it was from there, but the store didn't want to really do anything since I picked it up instead of physically picking the item. Console has been great, and I bought 3rd-party side panels to replace the janky ones that were "excellent" according to Best Buy.

Performs better than the base model though that's game dependent. Happy with the purchase though its not a huge leap compared to the base. Doesn't come with the stand or the disc drive which is what keeps me from giving it 5stars

I’m getting awesome performance from this, games like horizon and the last of us look amazing. Some say there isn’t a big enough difference to justify the cost but I’m happy with my upgrade

My first console and it is great. And very powerful

The PS5 Pro enhanced games look amazing with a noticeable improvement. But I haven’t noticed much, if any improvements in all other games. If you’re into any of the Pro enhanced games though it’s well worth the $$

I upgraded from the base PS5 and the Pro is excellent. Well worth it for any gaming enthusiast.

Playing on an LG C1 OLED I definitely noticed the difference vs the original ps5. FF7 rebirth looks and runs amazing vs the regular ps5 where the graphics were fuzzy and framerate was choppy.

Well, not much to say, its a ps5 pro, compatibility with certain tvs is much better than my xbox sx. Cant wait to play gta 6! If it comes out haha!

Great console, not a great value IMO as someone who had left console gaming for PC gaming since the original Xbox 360. If you don’t specifically need the pro, the ps5 will likely be enough for you and it’s at a much more accessible price point. No disc drive for $700 is absolutely lame, too, though I am aware of the existence of the add-on disc drive… though it’s never in stock.

This purchase was an upgrade from the ps5 disc version! Love all the new upgraded graphics and memory. Only wish it would have came w a disc cause trying to find the disc drive now is impossible!

It’s nice knowing I will be able to play games at highest performance until the next generation and mostly likely bring into the PS6 era a couple years or so as well
