When I made the purchase online for the PS5 Pro with the trade in of my PS5 I had up to 10 days to return the PS5 but when I bring the PS5 to the Best Buy store before 10 days they said I have to repurchase the PS5 Pro to trade it in to get $200 -$300 back. Which is not right!! I’m very disappointed & Not Satisfied with that kind of confusion as it said online trade in accepted

I bought this as a Christmas present for my grandson. The packaging arrived damaged. Inner packaging was damaged as well. Unit appears undamaged but it won't be tested until opened for Christmas.

The ps5 pro isnt worth the upgrade if you already have a ps5, unless the specific game that you play has been enhanced to a point that it dramatically increases its playability.

The ps5 pro is great. My problem is with bust buy. They shipped it in the original packaging. The controller was missing and The seals were broken and bottom of it was taped up all Best Buy would do was give me a 70 dollar credit not even enough to buy a new controller. For many years, I was a fan of the PlayStation console up until they started charging for yearly membership and then they started making pro consoles. I purchased this console and I noticed absolutely no difference for the money and graphic improvement. I think Sony dropped the ball on this unit. If it was me I would wait until a PS six or do what I did just build a good gaming computer that’s gonna last you for many many years or by the basic PlayStation five no need in buying this. This is a waste of resources especially the ones out of your wallet.

I like the PS5 Pro. The games look better and run smoother, and the loading is really fast. It’s quiet, and the bigger storage is nice. The price is high, but overall it feels like a good upgrade for me.

Purchased the PS5 Pro online. Received it fairly quickly. Received it wrapped in a black bag and taped. Box was damaged from shipping. I didnt even bother to open it. I took it to a best buy store to return it and get another one in person but they wouldnt accept it telling me online orders need to be returned online. The black bag was ripped by the store employee to scan the PS5, then found out the sytem wasnt sealed, it was already opened. So now i have to repackage it and drop off to a UPS store. So much hassle for an item poorly packed and damaged.

Don’t buy your console from Best Buy. They will ship it in a box so small there is no room for bubble wrap or padding. Box came damaged. For a $700 console I’m livid right now.

I've been playing on Playstations since the PS3, so I get the hesitation of deciding what's better between the base console and the Pro versions that Sony has been relasing since the PS4. For me, I find the PS5 Pro to be a genuinely good upgrade from the base PS5 I've had since 2022. The extra storage is greatly appreciated (about 2-3 times the base PS5, if my numbers are correct) and physically is relatively smaller, which does save you a nice amount of space. I do recommend getting a disc drive out of the sake of preserving the rights for your games. Gaming companies are making scummy moves nowadays with digital purchases, and while I didn't buy the drive (as it's unfortunately sold separately), this was a conscious choice, so don't be like me. Performance wise it runs beautifully, especially on games/screens that support the higher resolutions. The download speeds feel comparitvely faster too (though I did recently buy this, so perhaps its a placebo effect) If you've been looking to upgrade from a base PS5, or using this as a first-time buy, then it's well worth it. The storage alone is genuinely enough to justify the buy, some games get insanely big nowadays, and the Pro is able to hold multiple 100+ GB games and then some.
