Not a fan of the pro being digital only. Of course i did the separate purchase of the Sony Disc Drive along with the PS5 Pro. I would love to explain to someone in Best Buy corporate why they all but lost me 95% as a customer. Elite Plus $3,500 minimum yearly requirement 7 years in a row. Gamers Club Unlocked membership. All that to just two purchases a year. This and an electric razor. Look it up.

My son loved this gift. I was surprised how much more he liked it than other consoles he’s had in the past.

Nice system. Fast, responsive, worth the extra $$$ to me over the base PS5. The only complaint I have is I do wish the controller was a bit more ergonomic. I miss that about the Xbox controllers I used to have. They seemed to fit my hand better and felt more natural. Other than that I've been loving the PS5 UI. Looks sharper and more responsive than my Series X I used to have.

Love my ps5 pro. The better graphics are nice but the extra storage is amazing so you aren’t constantly having to delete stuff.

The PS5 Pro is pretty cool, but if you already have a PS5 it's really not worth it. Games look a bit sharper and frame rates can be a little more stable, but for $700 it's not worth the minor improvements. If you don't have a decent 4k monitor or tv to play on then just stick with the cheaper ps5.

This console system is my favorite and has allowed me to experience new games that I haven’t played before, such as God of War, Spider-Man, and Ghost of Tsushima. PSSR also adds to this experience.

It’s nice to have, but it is not really worth the extra $200. You do notice a difference, a difference you cannot see on YouTube. However, it’s not revolutionary or super dramatic. Yeah, the frame rate and resolution is smoother, you get an extra terabyte of storage, and the “details” pop through, but that’s it. And the details are very slight. Like, you can “see” more detailed stitching on things, but…okay? Honestly, if you don’t have the money, your base PS5 will do the same exact stuff, but without the “premium” frame rate and resolution. And, by the way, you notice the differences more on an OLED than a regular LCD 4K TV. And that 8K support? Good luck affording a TV that can support that. Do I regret buying this? No, but I also think if Sony had just stuck with the base PS5, I don’t think anyone would have complained. The fact that you can’t tell the difference unless you buy it is kinda ridiculous. It’s like Sony said “let’s not let people see it on YouTube so they have to purchase it.” I don’t know. Plus, for a “Pro” model, they really skimped on this. Not even the DualSense Edge was included AND they took out the disk drive. You can buy the disk drive yourself and install it and it will work, but that’s an additional $80. For a “Pro” model, that’s very sad. If they had the option to choose a model with the disk drive or digital, you know like they did with the base models, I would be a little nicer to this. And if they added the DualSense Edge, I could see the justification in the price. But, at most, it should only be MAYBE 75$ more…MAYBE!!! But not $200. I understand there’s profit to be made, but yeah, this isn’t it. The price isn’t justifiable and it’s just doesn’t do the same as when they released the PS4 Pro…THAT was justifiable! This? Nah!

Ive had it a couple weeks now and its been a fantastic system. I have a PC as well but this perfect for the living room. Love the extra power the Pro brings to table for my favorite PS5 games.
