Been loving my PS5 — crazy fast load times, amazing graphics, and the controller makes games feel way more immersive. It runs super smooth and quiet, and honestly feels like a true next-gen upgrade. No regrets at all.

Modest upgrade over the base PS5 but the extra storage capacity is a huge plus. It’s also incredibly easy to add your own storage. Slightly smaller so it fits better on my entertainment center than the base model. Games will get 120 fps if you have a monitor that supports it.

Upload/download and connection speeds are top tier for consoles. I think this is the best gaming console to come out up to date. 2TB of storage is amazing considering how massive games are nowadays. I visually noticed a difference in my graphics… much clearer and everything actually renders in! Worth the xtra bit of $ unless you just prefer pc’s over console.

Had a PS5 normal. Got this and I do see a big difference + the extra storage is great. One con is that the disc drive is missing so need to get one separately, but wasnt much of a bother with the discount and the trade in price for PS5.

This is a proper upgrade. The graphics and game play seem to have a very real improvement. Instead of being stuck at 30fps on 4K. The Pro actually lets you play at 60fps on a consistent basis. And it shows, One of the first games I played was RE9 and it looked and played exceptionally well. I was also able to make use of the Best Buy trade in promo, and was to get it at a reasonable price.

I got this right before the price hike. My original disk PS5 was a good console. But this one I feel is night and day agains the old one. It works really good with PS5 pro enhanced games. You get the best of both worlds of smooth frame rate and graphic fidelity. Im super happy with this purchase.

If you have a large 4k VRR TV you will appreciate this console a lot. The picture quality is amazing with supported games, standouts are all the Spiderman games and Horizon. Other games with un-capped frame rate options benefit greatly like Elden Ring, allowing you to run it in its quality mode at much higher fps. However, if you have a 48in 4k TV, or a 1080p TV and just want a console, I would go with the standard PS5, as it will be harder to distinguish the visual upgrades. There are some games that use better fidelity effects with the improved hardware, but most of what this console is about is delivering a sharper image with better performance.

Purchased this during the Black Friday sale to upgrade from my launch model PS5. Out the box it has 2TB storage in the console, almost makes the extra cost worth it just for that. But with the added performance upgrades that you get with the Pro as well, if you’re looking to get a PS5 spend the extra and get the Pro.

To start off, you need to the disc drive with this in order to play all your physical media and physical games. All the pro enhanced features make the games run and play so much better. It also takes up less room the original model which is a plus. Makes it a lot more sleek

I own a fat PS5 and an Xbox Series X, and had the money to upgrade to this console. The price is cery high, so it is not for everyone in that regard, but also in what the console provides. The console offers more power in both of the consoles I mentioned, and it is quite noticeable with a 4k tv, as the games in quality mode are incredibly crisp, something that the regular PS5 struggle to do so a lot compared to the Xbox Series X, and takes it to a higher level compared to the Series X, but the most noticeable power increase from both consoles are in the performance modes in games, 60 fps as usual with these consoles, but with far more features from the quality mode as a higher upscaled 4K and some extra bits in some games like Ray Tracing. And to hardcore competitive gamers, this console goes a lot higher than 80-90 FPS in most fps games. Overall, if you have the money and a 4K and or 120hz TV or monitor, yes- and if you are patient, maybe wait for the PS6, but even then, seeing the PS4 still kept alive, getting any PS5, specially this one, doesn’t seem like a bad choice.

I noticed significant performance differences in comparison to the Base PS5. The processor and fan are much more efficient, and the storage base is a bit larger than the PS5. Loading screens obviously load much quicker. I recommend playing the PS5 Pro Enhanced titles like KCD2, Balders Gate 3, and Dead Island 2.
