I upgraded from the 1st gen OG launch day ps5 and I love it, definitely faster loading than the OG ps5. Though my other 5 is still running fine, this one is definitely an upgrade. I wanted the better graphics capability and ray tracing, games are even more beautiful. I'm fortunate to be able to upgrade

Definetly worth the purchase before the price hike with the updated pssr2. Games are smoother and sharper. Significant frame rate improvements to ps4 games as well.

This is a great product. It does what it says it would do. It is overall a better product than the original ps5 The features are great like pssr and advanced ray tracing and the optimized console performance creates higher and more consistent silky smooth frame rates for the games I've been playing

2tb's of storage, the new PSSR feature and the enhancements for certain games (FF7 Rebirth) was the biggest selling point for me. I think Sony really outdid themselves with this console and it's performance. My biggest gripe with the console isn't about performance or any sort of hardware issue. It's the fact it doesn't come with a disc drive, that is probably everyones big issue. I do believe this is more or so for the enthusiast sony gamer or for anyone who wants to make the most out of their display that supports hdmi 2.1 and can really take advantage of the 120hz and uncapped frame modes some of these games can offer now. But truthfully, I really do enjoy this console.

It genuinely exceeded my expectations right out of the box. Coming directly from a PS4 after years i was finally able to to get my hands on a PS5 Pro and it was such an awesome transition everything is so different in a very great way. The controller, the game smoothness, fast loading time and graphics also when youre in a party chat with your friends the audio is so crisp and clear. If youre looking to upgrade your PS5 to a PS5 Pro i would highly recommend it.

I bought the Sony PlayStation 5, and honestly it has been one of the best purchases we’ve made. It works incredibly well — it’s fast, the graphics are amazing, and everything runs very smoothly. Beyond the technology, what I value the most is that it has helped us spend more quality time together as a family. We’ve been able to play together with my daughter and my wife, and it has become a really fun way to share time at home. I definitely recommend it. It’s an excellent console and a great option if you also want to create fun family moments.

The PS5 is everything I hoped for in a next-gen console. Lightning-fast load times thanks to the SSD, stunning 4K graphics with ray tracing, and the DualSense controller is a genuine game-changer—haptic feedback and adaptive triggers make gameplay feel immersive in a way I didn’t expect. It’s quiet, sleek, and surprisingly easy to set up. I’ve been playing titles like Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, and the performance is buttery smooth. Backward compatibility with PS4 games is a huge plus, and the UI feels intuitive and snappy.

Gave my nephew my old ps5 as a gift and I upgraded to the ps5 pro, and lets say its worth the upgrade. God of War Ragnarok and other ps5 pro enhanced games feel like PC upgrades. One thing to keep in mind not all PS4 or PS5 games have pro enhanced patches yet so some games will still run as they did before. I'm the type of person that pays attention to the tiny details and want to get the best out of my Alienware monitor which this ps5 pro does. I'm definitely happy with my purchase. Comes with 2 TB which is much needed since a lot of games take up a lot of space.

    Best Gaming Console

This is hands down the best gaming console you can get today. Yes, it’s pricey compared to other options, but it delivers on its promises. It’s also rumored to be the unofficial console of choice for the upcoming highly anticipated GTA VI. Why is that exciting? PlayStation’s Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR) is getting an update soon this year just before some other heavy hitter games. PSSR has been great, delivering what consoles of this generation have promised but failed to do: 4K gaming with high frame rates consistently. It’s genuinely impressive how well the AI in PSSR works to deliver outstanding detail. And this is coming from a former Xbox fanboy. The Series X didn’t excite me anymore and I felt like Sony was cooking up something good with the PS5 Pro. I’m definitely satisfied. Can’t wait for PSSR to release as it’s said to upgrade older games as well and improve further on clarity and boost frame rates. This year will be amazing for console gaming.

Coming from the launch edition console i don’t really notice a difference in performance i only upgraded cause of the price and needed more memory. I can say its quieter and it doesn’t come with a disc drive sold separately and sony doesn't have any plates yet for it and the ones they do have are sold out at the time

Definitely a noticeable upgrade from the PS5, especially with the PSSR update. The price has gotten ridiculous for consoles, but with the PS6 seemingly being delayed for a few years, I decided to upgrade from my PS5. The horizontal "stand" is a joke. 2 cheap clips that cause the console to still wobble. For the price, Sony should be ashamed. The stand that came with the PS5 was much better. The clips work well enough, but what this cost we deserved better. Otherwise I'm happy with it overall.

If you can get the PS5 Pro on sale then I say do. I had a PS5 Slim and although this is a bit bigger, the fans are MUCH quieter. I was actually surprised at how well the system handles heat. It does not overheat at all and fans still run nice and quiet. If you have not own a PS5 at all and you are looking to upgrade then this is the way to go.

I previously broke my 2020 Ps5 and ended up getting the ps5 pro, honestly it has a bunch of storage I can have multiple games installed at once which is very nice. It's slimmer and definitely a lot less heavier!

I picked up my PS5 from Best Buy and let me tell you this thing rips. The graphics are wild, load times are practically nonexistent, and the DualSense controller? Feels like magic in your hands. Even when I’m not playing the latest AAA game, I’m deep in The Binding of Isaac, and it runs buttery smooth. No lag, no delays just pure, chaotic dungeon-crawling bliss. I didn’t think I’d notice a difference on an “older” indie game, but even that feels upgraded. Best Buy made it super easy to grab one and I couldn’t be happier. Whether you’re into cinematic blockbusters or cursed basement roguelikes like me the PS5 is 100% worth it.
