Always been a PS fan , have owned every console, this one has not disappointed, minus one star due to having to purchase the drive separately

I dislike that it’s all digital and to find the disc reader for it is a nightmare. Bummed that they no longer make it with the disc reader. My son got 2 new games for Christmas and now he can’t play them. Horrible that in order to get the disc reader you have to sacrifice storage. My son rather have the storage so here I am trying to find out how to get his gifts returned to buy the digital version since I can’t find the extra add on

I was finally able to get one these and I love it . Great gaming experience

Was missing the power cord and charging cable for the console. Only way to get them was to return the item, get a refund and buy it back again. Not to mention you can’t reach anybody but AI.

Bought this as a gift and it is top of the line. Everything downloads so fast. Recommend this for anyone looking for anything faster

I was sold a defective ps5 pro, it’s started crashing 5 days after purchase. I called Best Buy and geek squad told me to follow Sony recommended procedure for error code “CE-108262-9”. Did all the Sony recommended procedures and did not fix the problem. I took it back to exchange for a replacement and they said would have to be repaired even though it was less than 3 months old AND I HAVE A BEST BUY WARRANTY I PAY OVER $200 YEAR FOR!!! I was told by multiple people it would be replaced. Now it is being replanted and will take weeks to get replacement parts. VERY UNHAPPY AND DISAPPOINTING WITH PS5 pro and BEST BUY for selling a defective ps5 pro and not replacing it. Also I have wait over a month for my PS5 to come back. DONT BUY FROM BEST BUY

Not much difference between ps4 and ps5 but the price. Not many games and even less storage space if you bought the digital version like I did. Nothing backwards compatibility so have to purchase new games which are either remastered or copy pasted games that they slapped a 2026 on the title… joke for the price not worth it , planning on taking it back here soon and getting a pc instead for a comparable price

Personally, I feel like I was ripped off when I purchased this. As an owner of the original PS5 since 2020, playing games on this felt no different than that and I just spent another $700 on a PS5 Pro and did not feel like I'm getting the benefit out of the PSSR that Sony has implemented in this console. This might come to life later but then you have to ask yourself when is the PlayStation 6 coming out? I actually decided to go Xbox after this

I bought the PS5 pro open box like new excellent condition and was extremely let down. The employee was rude. I had a bad feeling from the start. The app said there was only 1 left so I rushed to get it. It didn’t come in the original box, when I opened it the PlayStation was dirty and the middle part of the system was all scuffed up in poor condition. It clearly was used & abused. Since when did Best Buy start selling pawnshop ps5’s!! I returned it thinking they gave me the wrong one, I had them open up another one while returning it and that was in bad condition too. I just asked for a refund and left disappointed. Wow never again!! Worst purchase in a decade. Smh…

The box come open and broken but the playstation work good

If you’re the type of person who would spend the money on this kind of spec bump, you don’t need a review to help you. You like spending money for the latest tech and this is it for the time being. It does what it’s says it should but I wouldn’t trade up if you’re reading reviews to see if it’s worth the price.

I love playing on it however I do feel like it’s a bit over priced considering it comes with no free games and I have to pay for play station plus for online games

Only Pro in ps5 pro is .. 120 hz.. in 4K apart from that i dont feel any difference.. :(

Don’t buy the pro. You be wasting your money. Just get the regular PS5. Now I own both of them the only difference is the memory capacity. And to make it worse you have to buy a disk drive, more money you have to spend. I own a lot of disk games so I had to get it from a third party and those people like usual they over priced the drive because SONY can’t keep up with the demand! That’s another reason for you not to waste your money on the PRO! They should give the option for people who buys the console to buy the disc drive with it, at least that! But SONY! doesn’t care as long they are making money! Typical companies don’t care about the consumers as long they are cashing in! And to top it off their controllers joystick keeps braking all this years and they haven’t fixed the problem! So spend more money and buy warranty is cheaper than buying a controller every six months to a year!
