It is not a huge upgrade over the ps5, but you notice better rendering in games with slight improvements to graphics and smoother refresh rates. It even upscales older ps4 games.

This console system is my favorite and has allowed me to experience new games that I haven’t played before, such as God of War, Spider-Man, and Ghost of Tsushima. PSSR also adds to this experience.

Purchased as an open-box return. Console and controller were in new condition. It was just missing the small feet to prop the console up horizontally, so I had to rig something myself. Not a huge issue. The experience has been excellent otherwise. Graphics and performance have been solid, and the controller is more comfortable than expected coming from an Xbox. I just wish that, for the price, Sony would have included a disc drive, or at least the vertical stand. Ideally both. It would live up to the "Pro" moniker a lot better.

The PS5 Pro is a want, not a need, lol. If you don't have a gaming PC, this is the next best thing to game on. I have a 120hz OLED TV, so the extra ~$250 (from the PS% Slim) was worth it. Even though it doesn't come with a disc drive, it does have a larger 2TB hard drive. Which, in my opinion, is fine. If you think you're going to run out of storage, you can always get a larger SSD, easily.

Very powerful console, that is responsive, quick, and has a ton of value! Games look great on it and the ones that have a PS5 pro version run so smoothly. I waited until the pro came out to get a PS5 because I wanted the best version only the console and I definitely got it. Load time is impressive and graphical fidelity for a console are incredible! Worth it!

I had the normal PlayStation 5 and I had to keep deleting games to add game I don’t have to do that with this one

[Employee of bestbuy] First thing… A gaming PC builder here. If you want to buy a gaming PC for 699$ be my guest. Youll be doing it again next year as well cause all you get in the PC world for 7 bills is obsolete last gen tech, if your lucky you might be able to run SIMS 4. The PS5 pro is worth the investment. With its capabilities Id rank it up there with the $2500-3k PC builds. The regular PS5? Good box, but the Pro is worth the extra.

It's faster, sleeker and looks better (console and games). Still playing around with it, but like the upgrade so far. Wish it had the disc drive (and/or I could find one) and wish it was less expensive, but that's that.

Fast load times, great graphics, great games, great controller. User Experiences are dialed in. My only complaint is that Sony won't support the Logitech G27 wheel for no reason other than licensing.

Ive had it a couple weeks now and its been a fantastic system. I have a PC as well but this perfect for the living room. Love the extra power the Pro brings to table for my favorite PS5 games.

The pro version does give you a step up in overall experience but it's still a shame that it doesn't include the CD drive

Been a Playstation user since the first one, and I don't see that changing. Not having a built in disk drive on this pro console isn't ideal, but everything else is exactly what I'd expect from Sony.

Wverything rins better on the pro from graphics being 4k60fps super quite and fast worth the buy
