Family member blessed me with a console when my launch ps5 gave out Pretty well overall!

Good machine, quality games and high framerate in a lot of games too

I’ve been playing video games since early chidlhood from SNES to PS1 and Xbox. Have always tried to own different gens depending on possibilities. This current gen I had both Xbox Series X and OLED switch. It was time to get PS5 Pro and get in to that nostalgia from early Ps1 games to different JRPGs which solely are on PS or pc. I had many PS4 games still which run great, was able to get FVII Remake and recently there was a batch of FVII Rebirth Deluxe Edition. Been playing Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana and other games from Ys series looks great. Also immersed myself in some wuthering waves enjoying the story and music, cinematics. So it was great decision to finally get the PS5 Pro have been enjoying every day playing it.

Not a fan of the pro being digital only. Of course i did the separate purchase of the Sony Disc Drive along with the PS5 Pro. I would love to explain to someone in Best Buy corporate why they all but lost me 95% as a customer. Elite Plus $3,500 minimum yearly requirement 7 years in a row. Gamers Club Unlocked membership. All that to just two purchases a year. This and an electric razor. Look it up.

The best!! Definitely can tell the difference between my Normal Ps5. Also cool you can attach a disk panel.

Software experience on par with base ps5. Would perfer better explanation of pro settings for games in display options. Overall nice upgrade for this geneation of consule hardware. Noted improvement in remote play and UI a lttle more snappy. Recommend the upgrade.

Great Console, while i wish it came with a disk drive instead of buying it separately. It runs games much smoother than the base console with its enhancements. If you can afford it just get the upgraded console.

If you’re a serious PlayStation gamer that doesn’t want to spend thousands on a gaming pc.. then this is worth the upgrade. You have to remember that results vary per game title because it’s up to how much effort the devs put into the games. This is definitely worth it
