The most powerful PS5 there is. I notice the difference with the speed and graphics with this than my previous PS5. The storage is also very appreciated. Very well performing machine. Love it. Worth the extra money.only thing I added was a disc drive so I can still play my game collection.

In my 50s so old school gamer here. From Pong & Atari in the 70s & 80s to All Nintendos & Xbox... Sega Dreamcast, etc.. played or collected them all!! This is by far the best, both "under the hood" and developers. As also a 25-year game PC builder, This is the first time I've seen a console come close to the visual level I don't some of my higher end gaming machines. ie 7900XTX, 4090, 5090, etc...without the extreme video card costs ... as long as you're not a pro competitor. This 2TB pro version even matches the 6TB(with expansions) capacity of my Xbox Series X Galaxy Black edition. Another HUGE positive is that it uses M.2 SSD for expansion versus expensive proprietary cards like my Series X. The ONLY down side at all is, as a collector of special editions there is NONE for this, like the Ghost of Tsushima Edition for the regular PS5... I would take away half star for that...but after-market panels are available which I put on...

Ordered game console for pickup. In and out for two minutes. Mint condition. Everything worked as expected and happy. This console is so quiet and powerful. Added disk drive and ssd worked as expected. All the data on the ssd transferred over correctly from one console to this one. Smooth gameplay 120fps in some games. Can’t complain. It’s great.

If you already own a PS5, I wouldn't bother paying FULL price for this device. If you don't own a PS5 right now, just buy this. You'll get a superior machine with a larger storage capacity right out of the box! I would also highly recommend getting the disk drive (unless you know without a shadow of a doubt that you're an all-digital gamer). I would recommend this console ONLY if you don't already own a PS5 (non-pro version) and are OK with the prospect of maybe forking over extra $$$ for a disk drive down the line. Performance is as expected, and you can find a million reviews breaking that stuff down on YT, so I won't bother going into it here. It's fast, it's snappy, and works well every time. Also, the fact that the "PRO" version of the console DOES NOT include a vertical stand and still includes the **standard** controller is not OK (at least throw in the PlayStation EDGE Pro Controller for the price that is being charged)! Recommendations: Sony NEEDS to upgrade the joysticks in their controllers to hall-effect joysticks so that controller-drift becomes a thing of the past. As a consumer, I'd wait for a sale/bundle deal (see if you can get the console and a disk-drive for a reduced price, or the PlayStation EDGE controller).

The PlayStation 5 Pro delivers excellent performance, smooth gameplay, and impressive graphics. Games look sharper and run very well, especially on a quality 4K television. It is expensive, but for someone who plays regularly and wants the best PlayStation experience available, it is a worthwhile upgrade.

Coming from the regular PS5, I was really excited to see how games like GOW: Ragnarok would look with the beefier specs. I can confidently say that not only do some of my favorite games look better, but the higher frame rates make this worth every penny. And with the upcoming PSSR 2.0 update, it's only set to improve further!

Been a year since I upgraded from the OG digital release to this pro. Not a day goes by I regret my upgrade. Gameplay is much more fluid and the internet connection doesn’t drop especially when I’m hardwired in. I really enjoy the increased ray tracing, in games like DS2 you can really see and feel the difference. Cant wait to see GTA VI run on this baby!

You’re going to hear a lot of flack for this console. The Apple Vision Pro and this were announced in the same week I opted for the Vision Pro but then I thought about GTA 6…… Seeing that my piggy bank was a little on the empty side I got the console. It’s fine and will make you appreciate games more than you already do (just have a vrr capable 4k tv, getting this made me upgrade my hdtv to 4k; most games can’t run at 120fps and if they do terrific)

I have ever playstation. Playstation 1,2,3 and 4. Best I must say the Playstation 5 Pro is by far the best in my collection. Extremely powerful, tons of storage, and it has perfect graphic plus endless amount of game titles. This is a must buy from best buy !

The PS5 Pro is by far the best gaming console I have ever owned. The speed is unbelievable—games load in seconds, and the 4K performance with high frame rates makes everything look stunning. So I decided to back up my original PS5 then trade it in to Best Buy for a PS5 Pro. Great trade-in experience! The PS5 Pro does not disappoint. Comes with 2TB of Console storage, thats more than 3x the storage in the PS5. I have an LG C2 which supports 4K 120fps. Played some games and I do see a marginal improvement. Horizon, Call of Duty to name a few. There are select games that are PS5 Pro enhanced, that can balance fidelity and performance up to 120fps. The only con is that there are limited amount of games available that are PS5 Pro enhanced, but there will be more in the near future. $700 is pretty steep, so the choice is up to you. If you are satisfied with your PS5 original or slim and love how the games look, then youll be fine. If you want more out of your games and you are big on tech like me, check out the PS5 Pro!!

Honestly after playing my bfs PS5 I decided to finally upgrade myself to the PS5 Pro after holding on to my PS3/PS4 and it does not disappoint. The graphics and load times are definitely better to me, but the regular PS5 is still fine as well. My tv only supports the 1440p/60 fsp/hrz so I can only imagine what the 120 fsp looks like. I think the price is reasonable for the Pro (lowkey not after taxes though because it adds like $50 unless you live in a tax free state). I remember paying like $500 back in the day for the first PS3 so for $200 more dollars to get what the Pro gives, I don’t feel too bad. I do however understand why not having a disc drive or stand included is irritating for the customer, but again for me it is still worth it. Overall, If you have the extra money, I say get the Pro. If you really don’t care that much or have a regular tv that can’t support the high features of the Pro, then stick with the regular. I play games like COD, The Last of Us and Tekken for reference.

I love the ps5 pro more over the normal ps5 because you can actually tell the difference on the delay and how fast the game runs the game runs so smooth and with my 4k tv the game looks so unreal, i just got to say im satisfied with my purchase

Upgraded my launch edition ps5 for the pro and I like it better frame rate and games look better.

Absolutely love the PS5 Pro. I have a huge library of games and they all have improved graphics and speed. The ray tracing is notably, the most eye-catching edition to past and present games. Since there are so many amazing games and upcoming games to play. I've decided to just buy PlayStation Pro models of going forward. Highly recommend especially with the new slew of games coming out this year and next year they all are going to be optimized for the PS five Pro! Can't wait!

The ps5 pro is the best console money can buy currently. It is a great experience playing on this with my g4 oled. Compared to the launch ps5 or slim the visuals are somewhat better and the higher fps is always nice. Only reason this got 4 stars is for $750 retail does not come with a disc drive or the stand. For the price a little ridiculous it does not. However would still recommend buying this console if you have a nice oled or at minimum a tv with hdmi 2.1 support and 120hz for max fps.

I bought this PS5 Pro due to hearing some rumors that Gta 6 will run at least 60FPS with the pro. I didn’t plan on using it but since buying it, plugging it in, and setting up playstation plus I’ve downloaded many games. For example Spiderman 2, Gta 5 Enhanced, And lastly God of War Ragnarok. GOW is PS5 pro enhanced so it can give you 4k 30fps with quality that literally looks like real life. It also uses AI frames which are surprisingly very accurate and beautiful. I didn’t know the PS5 Pro came with more storage then a regular till after I plugged it in and used it, I have over 7 games downloaded at the moment and the load up speeds are insane and nothing compared to my PC. If your thinking of buying a PRO then go for it! (Also best buy provides a really good warranty too)
