The PlayStation 5 is a beast! From the moment you unbox it, you know you're dealing with something special. The design is bold, futuristic, and definitely makes a statement in any entertainment setup. But it's not just about looks; the PS5's performance is where it truly shines. Games load in the blink of an eye thanks to the super-fast SSD, and the graphics are simply stunning. Playing games in 4K with HDR is a visual feast, and the console handles it all without breaking a sweat. The DualSense controller is a game-changer, too. The haptic feedback and adaptive triggers add a whole new layer of immersion to gameplay, making every action feel more realistic and engaging. Sure, it's a big console, and finding one can still be a challenge, but if you're serious about gaming, the PlayStation 5 is worth every penny. It's a true next-gen experience that sets a new standard for console gaming.

Beyond worth the extra storage runs quiet and fast

This is best gaming console on the market - plenty of power in a familiar form factor. Smaller than original PS5, easy to add SSD (although you already have 2tb out of the box), all the existing accessories going to work without issues. A number of enhanced games you can play right now. If you don't have a dedicated gaming computer or laptop - this is the way to go. Downsides - nothing additional in the box, for example - if you need a vertical stand - you will have to buy it. No regrets from my side in buying it - easy plug and play solution for my needs.

Upload/download and connection speeds are top tier for consoles. I think this is the best gaming console to come out up to date. 2TB of storage is amazing considering how massive games are nowadays. I visually noticed a difference in my graphics… much clearer and everything actually renders in! Worth the xtra bit of $ unless you just prefer pc’s over console.

The transfer process from Ps5 to the Pro was streamlined. I enjoy the fidelity the hardware gives currently available software. It’s nice to be able to enjoy ray tracing and while also enjoying stable frame rates. Keep in mind you will want to ensure your display uses the same output standards that the pro uses so you can maximize your enjoyment.

It’s fast and quiet with plenty of space. Only con is the size.

I own a fat PS5 and an Xbox Series X, and had the money to upgrade to this console. The price is cery high, so it is not for everyone in that regard, but also in what the console provides. The console offers more power in both of the consoles I mentioned, and it is quite noticeable with a 4k tv, as the games in quality mode are incredibly crisp, something that the regular PS5 struggle to do so a lot compared to the Xbox Series X, and takes it to a higher level compared to the Series X, but the most noticeable power increase from both consoles are in the performance modes in games, 60 fps as usual with these consoles, but with far more features from the quality mode as a higher upscaled 4K and some extra bits in some games like Ray Tracing. And to hardcore competitive gamers, this console goes a lot higher than 80-90 FPS in most fps games. Overall, if you have the money and a 4K and or 120hz TV or monitor, yes- and if you are patient, maybe wait for the PS6, but even then, seeing the PS4 still kept alive, getting any PS5, specially this one, doesn’t seem like a bad choice.

I noticed significant performance differences in comparison to the Base PS5. The processor and fan are much more efficient, and the storage base is a bit larger than the PS5. Loading screens obviously load much quicker. I recommend playing the PS5 Pro Enhanced titles like KCD2, Balders Gate 3, and Dead Island 2.

I’ve been really impressed with the PS5 Pro. The biggest difference for me is the upscaling and overall performance. Games look sharper, cleaner, and more detailed, especially on a nice TV, and it’s great being able to get better visuals without feeling like I’m sacrificing smooth gameplay. The performance feels more consistent, and certain games just have that extra polish that makes them feel more premium. It’s not just about higher resolution either — everything looks more refined, from textures to lighting to overall image clarity. If you already love PlayStation and want the best version of the PS5 experience, the Pro is absolutely worth it. It feels like the console for people who care about picture quality, smoother gameplay, and getting the most out of their setup.

This is a great console for a range of online, digital, and offline games. It has great performance, stunning visuals, and great graphics. I record a lot of my gameplay with friends, and unlike Xbox, the PS5 Pro can not only record in-game audio, but also party calls, either on a separate party via Playstation party, or in-game party chats. The recordings come out great, and sound quality is fantastic. I also really enjoy the controller, much more comfortable than many other competitor brands out there! It's a blast to play on and a great console for YouTubers or streamers who love to record their gameplay and voice chats!

This is a proper upgrade. The graphics and game play seem to have a very real improvement. Instead of being stuck at 30fps on 4K. The Pro actually lets you play at 60fps on a consistent basis. And it shows, One of the first games I played was RE9 and it looked and played exceptionally well. I was also able to make use of the Best Buy trade in promo, and was to get it at a reasonable price.

I upgraded from the day-one release base PS5 to the PS5 Pro. There is a notable upgrade in load times, frame rates, and quality on max-settings modes. If you can get it for the original price (maybe not the recent price increase), it's definitely worth it. If you have a base or slim model in working condition, you can probably save yourself the extra money.

Excellent gaming console. The performance is incredibly smooth, with fast load times and outstanding graphics. The system feels very powerful and responsive, even during demanding games. It offers plenty of internal storage, which is a huge plus, and the overall experience is seamless from setup to daily use. The interface is intuitive, the software runs flawlessly, and everything feels well-optimized. I haven’t experienced any issues at all—no lag, no crashes, nothing to complain about. Overall, it’s a top-tier console that fully delivers on performance, reliability, and gaming enjoyment.
