This was purchased as a gift for our father, and everything worked out beautifully—from setup to performance. He was thrilled, and seeing him enjoy it made the purchase even more worthwhile. The console runs flawlessly, graphics are incredible, and load times are lightning fast. After experiencing it firsthand, I’m honestly thinking about upgrading to the PS5 Pro for myself as well. Highly recommend to any PlayStation fans considering the upgrade!

My kid and I split the cost of this. It was an opened box. It was kinda expensive for "subsidized" hardware. The PS5 Pro was in great shape and everything works as expected. Coming from PC it is a drag that you have to pay to play online. It seems to do a solid job on games. Image quality and frame rates are good, but not at the same level of our PC. We bought this for upcoming exclusives. I am not sure we will keep it after that. PS exclusives for the PS 5 have been kinda weak and with the recent changes that affect the aftermarket reselling of Sony games, the cost of games are probably not going to drop as much or as often. Steam sales have spoiled us. We got a great deal on the pro via open box, but unless you do too, I wouldn't recommend this over the regular PS5. Save up for expensive games.

I picked up the PS5 Pro from Best Buy during the recent Black Friday sale and got it for about $100 off, which made it an even better deal. I’ve always been somewhat of a gamer, and while it can be harder to find time to play as you get older, this was a purchase I felt good about. The in-store pickup process was smooth and easy. As for the console itself, the graphics are excellent and everything runs incredibly smooth. Games load quickly and the overall performance is exactly what you’d expect from a next-gen system. Overall, this was a solid purchase for me at the right time, and I’m really happy I grabbed it when it was on sale.

Absolutely blown away by the PlayStation 5 Pro. The performance is next level—everything runs insanely smooth, load times are basically nonexistent, and the graphics are just unreal. You can really see the difference, especially on newer titles. It feels like a true upgrade in every way. If you're serious about gaming, this console is 100% worth it.

I'm a huge fan of the original Playstation 5. The fast storage and dualsense controllers stood out as the biggest advancements to me. But if you have the latest and greatest tv and want to play the latest games with all the eye candy it is capable of, you are stuck with an annoyingly low fps. And if you want better fps, you're stuck with a lower resolution. And usually there is no balance to both. The pro was advertised to address those issues and from the games I have played so far, it delivers. As many have pointed out, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth plays dramatically better on the pro and other games also show an improvement. The improvements vary from game to game. I also appreciate the 2TB storage. I won't have to rush out and buy an additional ssd anytime soon. The only disappointment is the disc drive. Not because I had to pay extra for it. But because at the time of this review, the disc drive add on is sold out at all the major retailers. So if you have a physical game library like I do, the only way you can get one is by buying one from a scalper. Luckily, I bought a disc drive a month before the pro came out. If you have a physical PS5 library, I would wait until these get back in stock. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase, but this is not going to be for everyone. If you're a casual gamer and already have a PS5, I wouldn't recommend it. But if you have the money to spend and have a monitor or TV will all the bells and whistles, you won't be disappointed.

If you’re upgrading from PS4 to PS5 Pro, you will feel the biggest difference ever PS5->PS5 Pro though, you would understand it’s a bigger leap towards graphics wize Love it so far and has plenty of storage

The PS5 Pro is awesome. Games look way better and run super smooth, especially in 4K. It loads really fast, and I noticed it’s quieter than the regular PS5. Purchased this during the Black Friday sale to upgrade from my launch model PS5. Out the box it has 2TB storage in the console, almost makes the extra cost worth it just for that. But with the added performance upgrades that you get with the Pro as well, if you’re looking to get a PS5 spend the extra and get the Pro.

The ps5 pro is very light, easy install, looks amazing, graphics and performance are as they should be for this gen console. Why spend thousands on a gaming pc or laptop when you can enjoy near beautiful graphics on the ps5. The 2 terabytes are perfect to install lots of games and added expansion ssd storage is perfect if you need more…

This might sound silly, but after three years of PC gaming, it felt refreshing to play on a console again. No Windows updates, driver issues, or tweaking settings—just download and play. I’ve got a powerful PC (4080, 32GB RAM), but many games still run worse than on console due to poor optimization and fragmented launchers. Despite hitting 200+ FPS on PC, the console’s 60 FPS feels just as good in actual gameplay. Honestly, the simplicity alone makes it worth it.

Currently loving my Playstation 5 Pro. I’ve had it for about a month and have enojoyed every single aspect of it. From the high resolution display, the lightining fast loading times, ability to keep high frame rates on graphic-heavy games and overall better perofrmance that the Playstation 5 Slim I had.

To start off, you need to the disc drive with this in order to play all your physical media and physical games. All the pro enhanced features make the games run and play so much better. It also takes up less room the original model which is a plus. Makes it a lot more sleek

This console is great; you can really notice the difference when playing any game. It doesn't get too hot or make too much noise, and it's also much smaller than the standard console! It's very good!
