My original PS5 from 2021 recently overheated and currently doesn’t work I was looking for a new PS5 now the pro wasn’t my first choice since it’s expensive and I needed to get the disk drive so I wasn’t really looking at getting this one but I was able to sell my ps5 for parts I got some money from that and decided why not pull the plug and get the pro mainly because it was the extra storage and I really want to play ghost of yotei in the best possible way. After having it for 2 weeks it’s a tough sell. The build quality and the size of it are way nicer than the og base ps5 that I went from. The extra storage is really nice and makes a difference but there’s not really a difference in many games. There are some games that really use the pro well like stellar blade that has a bunch of settings and shows the potential the system has along with ff7 rebirth which is a night and day difference from the pro to the ps5 in performance mode but if a game doesn’t have a ps5 patch it still can benefit from the system smoothing out the framerate of games like silent hill 2 which had performance issues on ps5 but playing it on the pro makes it really smooth but visually in most games I couldn’t tell a difference between the ps5 pro or the base ps5. So is it worth the 200 dollar difference from base ps5 or close to 300 dollar difference if you get a disk drive like me I have to say not really. If you want more storage and smoother frame rates and have the extra money it can be worth it but if you want a big graphics difference and or are more on a budget just save the 200 or 300 dollars and get a base ps5 and just get extra games to play on it.

The PS5 Pro has completely elevated my gaming experience. The graphics are sharper, the performance is smoother, and load times are practically nonexistent. Playing in 4K feels more immersive than ever, and the console handles even the most demanding games effortlessly. It’s a significant upgrade, and I’m genuinely impressed with how much it enhances gameplay. For anyone who loves gaming, this is absolutely worth it.

Best Buy had a nice trade-in offer going on so I decided to treat myself and make the upgrade from the original PS5 to the PS5 Pro! The additional storage is a huge convenience and I feel better knowing my console gaming experience is future-proofed with improved computing power. The difference in how the Pro runs vs the original console is maybe not noticeable enough to warrant the price difference, but maybe it would be if I was playing on a higher res/framerate monitor. I guess that will be my next buy :) Very happy with my purchase overall!

By far the best console on the market today. The colors and frame rates are Amazing the graphics are a 10 you cannot go wrong with the Pro. I highly recommend it.

This isn't a giant leap past the ps5, but it delivers on what it promised. I wanted it mainly for any upscaling it can provide to my ps4 collection. Everything looks great playing on this version console.

Always takes us a while to migrate from older PS consoles, but it’s always been worth the wait. The graphics look amazing and my only issue is deciding what game I’ll get lost in.

Compared to my previous consoles this one works a lot quicker, downloads stuff immediately, the graphics are great and I've had no issues with it so far.

Very fun to play on. Does give a great improvements over the original PS5. Also has 2tb of storage. Only downside is the price and lack of a disc drive.

Definitely a worthy upgrade over the normal PS5, being able to have 4K and 60 FPS at the same time, it’s pretty dope, but I did wish it came with a disc drive, especially for a console that costs $900. It should come with a disc drive for that amount.

Favorite thing about it is that there’s games that combine the performance and fidelity modes in games into a PS5 Pro mode that runs well and looks great.

I wasn't sure initially if I had made the right decision in upgrading to the pro but once I started playing the PS5 pro enhanced games it is noticeably better in terms of picture quality, frame rates and load times. It's an excellent piece of hardware if you're a PlayStation fan.

PS5 Pro is a great upgrade from the regular PS5. I could instantly tell the difference when I booted up Days Gone Remastered. The PSSR upscaling makes everything sharper and higher resolution looking while also giving smooth FPS.

Best console out there. Tried Xbox before and just didn’t like it. PlayStation consoles are the best, got the pro console because I don’t buy disk games. Digital games are just convenient. No need to have all kinds of disk laying around. I can take my console wherever and have all my games digitally. Love the big hard drive space. Excellent graphics.

Better than the regular PS5, comes with more storage and is more powerful in certain games. Quality is good.

I can immediately distinguish between the base model and the PS5 Pro! It’s snappier, and the visual improvements with the new PSSR update has significantly enhanced the graphics which makes playing some of my go to games I play like Steller Blade, FC26 and Rocket League a better gaming experience!

Faster frame rates, better ray tracing and faster loading than PlayStation 5 standard

I gifted my PS5 to my grandkids and bought a PS5 Pro for myself. Really like having the larger internal hard drive. Stinks that Sony does not make the pro with a disk drive and you have to spend extra money for the add on disc drive but I have such a library of PS4 disk that there was no other way to go. Unit works great and pleased with my purchase. The slim PS5 becomes about the same size as the original when you add the disc drive. Very pleased with the unit.

The ps5 pro is really. I love it. The graphics are great plus 2GB storage. More space for my games

Great product not disappoint after a year. This product is more about the frame rate and pushing the graphical fidelity at 30 frames per second.
