Is Sony's PlayStation 5 Pro really worth the $700 plus tax price tag, they're asking for it all comes down to the individual what you're looking for. And if you want the best of the best or just a PlayStation 5 Slim I picked up my PlayStation 5 Pro yesterday. I started playing The Last of Us remastered and I got to say with the PlayStation 4 Graphics enhancement. You see a noticeable difference, but it's not night and day. I tried Horizon forbidden West which has a PlayStation 5 Pro patch and the difference was breathtaking as a gamer on the original PlayStation 5. You can really tell the difference between the pro and the regular PS5 and again, it's not a night and day difference. Probably and it would be the only negative I can say about the PlayStation 5 Pro is the fact that at the $700 price point is being offered. There isn't really that many PlayStation 5 titles and I'm talking about across the board in every model that could take advantage of pssr. But Mark Cerny did say they are committed to making the PlayStation 5 Pro a gaming beast and they will release more games to sum up my review. Do I recommend the PlayStation 5 Pro over the slim? I definitely do recommend it. I returned a PlayStation 5 Slim with overheating issues the PlayStation 5 pro has been amazing and I can't wait what the company offers for it in the future and how simple it's going to be for developers to make more games for us hardcore Gamers to enjoy.

I bought this Ps5 Pro specifically for Crimson Desert and to be able to get the most out of GTA 6. Somehow the HDR and framerate is boosted in every game (Elden Ring is amazing) I feel vindicated grabbing one knowing the PS6 has probably been pushed back a while.

Next-level performance! Games look stunning in 4K, and the speed is insane. Load times are basically gone. A huge upgrade from the base PS5 worth every dollar if you’re a serious gamer.

Overall I am amazed. Coming from a ps5. I can honestly tell a difference in almost every game in every aspect. Some games more than others. Definitely in the finer details if you care for that. Only downside I have had so far. (To be fair had it on the ps5 too) where the LAN cable will randomly say it’s disconnected when it isn’t. Sometimes it won’t ever do it and others it’ll do it so much you’ll want a PC. Not just a ps5 pro issue to be fair though. I just hoped it would have been fixed by now with a pro model. (Definitely a software issue. Not hardware issue).

Sony offered an upgrade from PS4 to PS5 with additional $50. Ordered an open box from BB. GT7 appear to be more sensitive to input and reactions. Overall a good performance upgrade from PS4 Pro.

Best console Ive ever owned! Graphics are amazing when paired with PS5 pro enhanced gamess, new PSSR 2.0, and a 4k TV. I bought the last PS5 pro on the shelf before the price hike last month. Best Buy made the process quick and easy, staff was pleasent, and customer was satisfied!

Great graphics. Controllers felt good in hand. Huge hard drive for game storage.

I wasn’t expecting *that* much of a difference, but wow, this thing is sweet! It’s got me back to being hooked on playing PlayStation games. PS5 Pro updates are a good reason to revisit old and new games alike. If you’re on the fence, I’d say go for it! Be sure to pick up the disc drive too.

Love the new PS5 Pro. It is really good and noticeable with the Pro enhanced games and on a 4K screen. Partnered with the Best Buy financing for no interest for 24 months you can get it at around $30 per month. I added the disc drive to mine which I like the ability for the system to be upgraded with that. Plus you can add more storage if needed too like the older versions

Improve fps with minor enhancement in graphics, with load times nearly as fast as the PS5 standard. However, the differences might not be significant enough to justify the increase in cost, especially if it lacks features like a disc drive or a stand.

Awesome Graphics. Pretty easy to setup. Parental controls are a breeze uf ya got curious minds in the household. PS5 Pro automatically senses the TVs best resolution. 4k And up or ur current TVs max settings. Endless library to keep ya busy. 2 TBs of storage is nice as well. The capability to add more Memory is awesoke. Can use an external drive if ya like. Downloads are pretty fast depending on ur Internet service capability.

Merging quality and performance is amazing, but the added ray tracing, and pssr are the sure winners with this upgrade. Adding AI brings already beautiful games to life especially with the depth of field. Not a fan of disc drive and stand being sold separately but great for those who doesn’t own physical copies.

I'll be frank and direct: if you don't have a big budget and want to enjoy the PS5 world, go straight for the PS5 Slim. That console will do everything you need and won't break the bank. But... if you're obsessed with having the best quality in games and want the ultimate experience of this generation, go for the PS5 Pro. While this console doesn't truly deliver 4K and 60fps simultaneously in all games, it does in PS5 exclusives, and it does it incredibly well. You'll really feel the games, and if you have a large TV with HDR and an OLED/QLED backlight, believe me, you'll play in a way that's out of this world. :³

I’ve owned all 5 PlayStation’s now and they get better each time. 2TB hard drive, awesome graphics, and a game catalog that goes for days.

I've notice an overall performance increase. Loading,graphics,storage... it's a very good system. Pro enhanced games look absolutely amazing!!! I highly recommend buying another controller and a charging base. Especially if you plan on playing for extended periods of time. BestBuy had a very fast delivery time.
