It either works or it don't. This one works. And has worked for quite a while now with no complaints. Don't feel too bad about giving up your disc PlayStation for this as Sony DOES offer a blue ray drive at an additional cost. Connecting it to this PlayStation 5 Pro isn't a breeze but it isn't hard either. Graphics on this unit is a bit better then the Ps5's but marginally and if you don't have a monitor/TV good enough to exploit those differences, you may not see these differences. So I recommend buying this? Yes.....but.....only if you have a monitor capable of showing you how good graphics coming out of this thing really is and ONLY if you can make the purchase comfortablly. Otherwise.....keep your PS5 disc version. Id you have the PS5 digital, go on and upgrade to this.

As you know Sonys latest hardware the PS5 pro! $699.99 and no disc drive that will be another $79.99 and to securely stand it up you guessed it another $29.99. If you play on a large screen TV and sit a normal distance away you are barely going to be able to tell what the Pro enhancements were. Better suited for smaller TVs and closer range of sitting to really get the benefits. I will be returning this and just buying a slim save money for the inevitable PS6!

By far the best console I’ve ever played on, ease of use, runs so smoothly frames keep up I never have an issue with this console. Got mine a little over a year ago now and it’s been consistent with everything it has to offer I’d highly recommend over an Xbox, switch, or any other console out to date. Highly impressed.

Amazing, powerful. Every game looks absolutely stunning. I play all my games with my graphics settings maxed out and there is never any lag in performance. I love that it comes with 2 TB of space built in.

Its a appreciable stop up from the base PS5, if you've got games that utilize it. Unlike the PS4 Pro, the PS5 Pro runs quiet and does NOT sound like a jet engine. I don't have much issue with the 750 price tag, as a comparable gaming PC would easily cost double that. Could have added more storage onboard, but the upgrade slot is just as easily accessible as it was on the base PS5. I hope to see more titles properly utilize the Pro's capabilities.

Good performance and graphics really advise you get a monitor for best quality overall best gaming console.

I’ve always come to best buy for tech stuff, but my boyfriend loves using this PS5 pro we even thought about getting a better TV so it looks better when he plays. Best purchase ever!

Upgraded from the original PS5 and I’m in love with the PS5 pro! I will say: make sure your tv can support a lot of the added features before you make your decision whether it’s worth the extra cost. Things like 120hz, VRR, ALLM etc are new features that will only work if your television is compatible. Also, make sure you buy an external disc drive if you plan to play physical games!

Bought dome of the first batch of ps5s and finally got the leakjng liquid metal issue. So works good as a replacement. I play in a monitor so the 1440p and increase in power are a great upgrade. Its also quiter than the normal ps5

If you are trying to get the most performance and willing to put the money in, I will recommend getting the PS5 Pro BUT if you are just a regular gamer and want to save money just get the regular (PS5). There’s not much difference between the PS5/ Pro. In my eyes the difference is in the RT and the storage (you can add more storage)*. Ofc there’s more stuff between PS5/ PRO, if you really thinking in getting one, do your research and see which one will suit you better.

I 100% notice a difference. Yeah it's kinda pricey but it's what I wanted. I am also a video/screen nerd. The PS5 pro paired with my OLED LG 42in C2 for gaming is really awesome. I do feel like I am getting graphical capabilities from a mid level gaming PC on this console. It really depends on how you view this upgrade and if you have always only been on console. Console is all I've known and the PS5 pro has met my expectations. The only thing I WILL SAY is that it really depends on the TV/Monitor that you are using. If you have a generic 4k led tv capped at 60hz you are for sure missing out. OLED is king my friends. 4K/VRR/120 FPS/Extremely Fast Response Time/Infinite contrast and true blacks. Makes a big difference
