I ordered online for same-day pickup at the Best Buy Emeryville location, and the whole process was smooth and easy. I got the item for my son, and he was super excited to have one! Ok so this orobably should have been what ps5 was in the first place but the console is fast with noticeable upgrades. No upgrading drivers or making adjustments , just smooth and above all fun gameplay . A bit pricy only butvonky because a ps5 will do fir most people and they may never know the difference especially if yiu are not playing on a newer tv. I definitely love PS5 pro and After relizing that i had a PS5 at begining and used the disk drive …..um never, i dont think i will be payinv extra for one and if you have a ps5 slim yiu can swap disk and cover between consoles so you can play the onw disc you found in the drawer if you realky must.

Great console, visuals are stunning, runs very quiet. Games like ghost of yotei look noticeably better than base PS5.

Best console there is. It’s a massive improvement over the base PS5 if you have a VRR tv.

This is a great buy. Unfortunately youtube doesnt do it any justice when comparing games. I played Spiderman 2 in preformance pro mode and you can definitly see a difference its not a huge jump but what we get is a higher resolution at higher framerate. I caught myself at times photo moding to see reflections. I am hoping that going foward that we will see the advantage of the pro as developers get used to the new GPU. I think at some point the pro will be able to deliver the 60fps option at a good resolution as the standard ps5 ability to go to 60 gets worse then it is especially.when it comes to UE5 titles. Buy the pro if you can good buy.

The PS5 Pro is a meaningful upgrade for performance-focused gamers, but the lack of a flexible disc drive choice may be a downside for those who still value physical media. A disc drive can be purchased separately though but is a hefty amount.

Definitely a nice upgrade over the base performance and will bridge the gap til next gen.

5/5 wouldn't buy a disc anyway. They get scratched . The foil coating degrades after 10-15 years. They're just crap. The entire time CDs existed. We've spent trying to invent new things to replace CDs. Screw CDs.

The Ps5 Pro is way better than expected. Graphics are great and the games feel so smooth! Definitely worth every penny!

Lots of storage, great gameplay and clear gaming quality

PS5 Pro is incredible, the controllers and the systems incredible specially playing games in enhanced which brings an experience like none other before. You definitely need a 4K TV or a monitor to play its highest capacity.

This system is a lot better than I thought it would be to be honest. There is a noticeable difference in clarity, crispness of graphics, AND the system is a little smaller (barely)

Great product still works perfectly fine after almost one year

I had the standard PS5 at first and was looking to upgrade since i had recently gotten an OLED TV. Definitely much more noticeable graphical enhancements and overall performance on the pro edition. Games run more smooth, environments and gameplay looks more detailed, and i can even use the graphics enhanced mode without stutter. Definitely would recommend if youre a console user and a playstation fan.

This is good step up. Some would probably want to hold off until there are more games that benefit from the new hardware. I got this after i beat FF7 Rebirth and went back to play the new game + and you can for sure see the difference. Id say if there are games your playing and they are PS5 Pro enhanced and you got the cash, I dont think you'll be disappointed. And to have the extra storage off the bat without having to give up another $100, if you dont already have a PS5, this is the one you want.

I thought it was a bit overpriced. However my boyfriend really wanted the new console. It has been nothing but good to us. Runs fast, graphics are great, and we have had no issues. Best Buy made the purchase easy & fast. We made the switch from Xbox to Ps5 and we would never go back!
