So far this is probably the best PS5 console I've owned since the launch of the PS5 but it is definitely been overhyped because PlayStation or game developers or whoever is not owning up to their end of the deal because most games I have played since purchasing this console at launch to date still have not been optimized for the PS5 Pro. Long story short I do not recommend buying the pro if you already own a slim PS5 but if you don't own a PS5 and you're looking to get one I would go straight for this console you won't regret it. Only downside is not being able to purchase the disk drive as promised because of the scalpers buying them all out doesn't matter anyway because I also own a PS5 slim and it's plate for the disk drive is definitely too short even though it fits you can tell it's not meant for it even the aftermarket this drive if you can get a hold of one the didk drive cover plate is obviously designed for the PS5 slim. Also plan to invest in a dust screen because I don't know why I like the PS5 slim or any console before it this thing is a dust magnet opened it up less than a month after running it because it started overheating and the heat sinks was packed full of dust in less than a month of operation.

The PS5 Pro improves on the standard PS5 experience meaningfully by boosting frame rates in unlocked titles, and providing improved graphics in a number of enhanced titles. It’s early days still, but I’ve seen noteworthy improvements in games like Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, Stellar Blade, Visions of Mana, and Dying Light 2. However, not every game benefits from the increased power, and some games have been patched with changes that arguably reduce the image quality. At $700 (or $780 with the disc drive), it’s definitely not a mandatory upgrade, but it’s nice for die-hard fans or PC gamers looking for fewer compromises on their console titles.

It's quiet, has sufficient disk space, and it's better to play Fortnite with a mouse and keyboard.

This has been a great purchase for me. I love the fact I can play PS5 games at a higher and smoother frame rates the 2TB of storage built is great. I got a third party stand for it so, the Pro will lay flat nicely.

Absolutely amazing purchase. You can tell a difference in both performance and graphics from your games. A must buy for any Playstation fan. (Photos are after I changed side plates and added a lifted stand for airflow)

It is really impressive in games that have uncapped frame rates and even improves the resolution in games that don't. On top of that, native ps5 pro ports are even more impressive with Spiderman 2 running at 40fps with VRR and fidelity ps5 pro mode. It is a little expensive and probably should have included a disc drive which is why I give it a 4 out of 5 but it is still good all around. It also transferred all the games from my m.2 drive in under an hour for twelve hundred gigabytes of data.

What can I say besides I love the PS5 PRO! Downloads games fast, more than enough storage and graphics are unreal! If you are thinking about getting a PS5, make it the PRO, you won't be disappointed!

PS5 Pro is the best console for gaming!! Wish that I would have picked up one sooner before the price hike. Replaced my faceplates with Box Plates. They are not for everyone but I like them for the old school retro console look. Wish Sony would not get rid of physical discs tho!

I love it! As a lifelong PlayStation user, the PS5 didn’t miss with looks and performance! The only downside is that it doesn’t come with a disc drive, but it’s not a problem since Sony makes it easy to install if you decide to buy one down the line.

The PS5 Pro is a game changer. The improved graphics and faster load times are truly impressive. While the price tag is steep, the performance and features justify the cost for serious gamers. If you're looking to push the boundaries of console gaming, the PS5 Pro is the way to go.

I am MY BEST BUY TOTAL member and it’s worth every penny. I will always trust Best Buy for all my electronics hardware and software. The PlayStation is an amazing product. I had bought the first version of it with a disc drive three years ago worked perfectly but needed more storage and wanted to better upgrade on the graphics. So they gave me a $200 trade-in credit which is amazing And purchase it online picked up in the store an hour later couldn’t be any happier will continue to buy from Best Buy.A++++

Works great! Performance is much more exhilarating compared to base PS5, to some it’s not a big change but the storage is crazy good

The PS5 Pro is the most powerful console on the market. If you are into graphical fidelity and high framerates, look no further than right here. I own both the base PS5 and the Pro and the Pro is as advertised. Gives you quality mode graphics with performance mode framerates. The only caveat is the developers of the individual games have to take advantage of the machine learning AI in the Pro properly to get good results.

I've been playing the PS5 since close to release and I was skeptical of the PS5 Pro at first, but it's an awesome upgrade! Its so much fastest, and it significantly improves some if the games I had been playing. The PSSR breathes new life into games that are PS5 Pro enhanced, and they simply look incredible. I'm very happy with this purchase, and I'm glad I did it when I did.

i had to play resident evil 4 remake with 60fps and ray tracing and the pro doesnt disappoint get any ps5 and gaming pc and an oled monitor and you are set lots of 60fps locked or closer to 60 like alan wake 2 sometimes its just better to play on a console as perfect as steam is of course
