It isn't. Stuttering gameplay that i didn't get with original. Graphics about the same as what i had. Only thing to hope for is longevity. Theoretically this holds the liquid metal better. We will see.

I am by no means bashing this either, it runs better than a base PS5, looks slightly better in most games but is by no means "A HAVE TO HAVE" upgrade. 2TB is so nice to have these days so that is a definite pro.

Faulty HDMI port

I can’t notice a huge difference in TV quality, but speed is there. I looked up online after mine started this- the HDMI port is faulty. It will suddenly loose connection to the TV. It happens every day I play. Thank goodness I have geek squad and will be exchanging it for another unit.

The only shame is that the console doesn't support a higher frame rate even it has the power to do so as it's capped at 120Hz because of industry standards/limitations in the TV market space.

They set me up with a payment plan and i was able to change it from 12 months to 3 months which honestly helped me with payments being easy. Now i recommend getting the pro PS5 because its better graphics and runs smoother compared to my siblings ps5 slim. No issues, quick and easy in and out within 10 minutes
