To this day, amazing console, I’m late to the PS5 hype, but the console it’s amazing.

This review is for those of you still rocking a PS4, like I did until a month ago. Please do yourselves a favor and upgrade. I was holding out for years, suffering through insanely long load times and waiting sometimes close to 40 minutes for a simple weekly game update to install before I could dive into actually playing. Gaming on an SSD is a breath of fresh air, and cuts down on loading and installation times more than 10-fold. The main OS is more visually pleasing and significantly more customizable than that of its predecessor, with a wider array of settings for game recording, chat audio, and various other features. Being able to massively expand device storage using a simple, user-friendly process is also a treat. It’s almost impossible to exaggerate how much better the experience is on one of these vs. gaming on the PS4, saddled with its smaller, slower spinny drive.

It is an awesome gamer but it has a bad downfall regarding there updates you loose all your winning gadgets to play games and all your hard work you have to start from scratch building your supplies to overall play the games.

I bought this as a gift for my sister and she really enjoys playing on it. So far no issues with the system or controller. My sisters likes using the disk feature as well as being able to play online.

Works as expected. This is my households 2nd PS5. The first was the original. The only concern I have is that when it is laying down horizontally, it makes a low (but annoying) "chirping?" kind-of-sound when a game launches and throughout the gameplay. Once the game is closed, the sound stops. Stand it vertically, and no sound at all. I'm considering either an exchange or a Vertical Stand for another $30. I prefer it being horizontal for space issues. Anyway, I am enjoying it and for me (a 67 year old who now plays his games on "Easy"), I'm glad I didn't get the Pro.

All I can say is Wow.. Playstation has done it again, what a great gaming system!
