I purchased a playstation 5 brand new from the 125 nw loop best buy location in san antonio texas on sunday 5/12. When i got home to open the item, the ps5 was broken. The cover was broken, with black smudges. when i went to return the ps5 the very next day 5/13 best buy refused to accept the refund because "the serial number console didnt match the box." regardless of the reason why they wouldnt accept my return, it was the very next day and they still denied me. If they think i am lying and switched out consoles, why would i purchase a protection plan, gaes, and an extra controller. I was completely scammed from best buy given a broken console. I am completely heartbroken an i do not know what to do. I returned the ps5 in the mail to bset buy and now i must wait 20 days for further notice. I pray to god i get a full refund or free exchange because this is completely unprofessional from best buy. worst experience ever. I will be canceling my credit card with best buy.

Same thing as PS4 the interface and home is different along with the controller and charging cable. Overall I would say if you have a 4 keep that

Purchased this PS5 as a Christmas present for my son. It was easy set to set up, works very well and is a great value for its size, speed and storage capacity.

The new Slim model is more compact and offers storage comparable to the Xbox Series X, with the added benefit of easy upgrades. The DualSense controller provides exceptional experiences for games that utilize its features, and additional accessories like the PSVR2 and PS Portal enhance the PS5's capabilities. Keep in mind that there is an additional $80 annual fee for PlayStation Plus if you want to access multiplayer games that aren't free-to-play, but the service offers various other advantages, albeit with a smaller selection of free games compared to Xbox Game Pass. Overall, the first three years of the PS5 have been marked by outstanding first-party titles such as God of War Ragnarok, Spider-Man 2, and Returnal, which have highlighted the console’s potential and set high expectations for its future.
