The new generation of consoles like to focus more so on technical capability rather than what the consumers are going to use it for which is playing video games, and of course the Playstation 5 will forever be known for doing just that. With no compelling titles at launch and not many released after almost five years of it being out, the PS5 would better be described as a powerful media player that just so happens to be a videogame console. I do enjoy watching 4K DVDs and Blurays on it and playing some of the digital games I have in my library, but many of those games came out for the generation before this one, and I'm not very excited for any of the new titles that are yet to be released except maybe Death Stranding 2 and Metal Gear Solid Delta Snake Eater. The Dual Shock 5 is designed beautifully and the haptic feedback is really fun in games like No Mans Sky, but having the microphone be integrated directly into the controller seems unnecessary and makes it seem like it drains the battery (but that's probably not true at all).
