I debated with myself for months about picking up a ps5, was a little worried about price increases, and at the encouragement of my partner who pointed out I’d been talking about it for months so it was still clearly on my mind, I decided to bite the bullet and get one, and I am so happy I did! The in depth but friendly ui on the Home Screen, beautiful games and haptic feedback, fun with old games and new alike, and since it can play ps4 games, I sold my ps4 to a friend who hadn’t gamed since the Super Nintendo and she’s having a blast! I cannot recommend the ps5 enough. I have a pc that I play as well, but it sometimes takes a while to fiddle with downloads, updates, etc and this is a great just cut on and go console, the ps5 games run okay on pc but the system runs them flawlessly of course, my series x still holds fun for me but the ps5 reignited my interest and fun with gaming. Ps2 was my all time favorite console and I haven’t had so much fun in a PlayStation since then until now. If you’ve got the money and are still debating it, go ahead and join in on the fun!

I’m an inexperienced user but this PS5 console is so friendly, lots you can do with it besides play video games, and the graphics are amazing! The operation is smooth and things load fast.

Was hesitant to buy this but was totally worth it. The new controller is the best controller I’ve ever had, and the haptic feedback is really immersive. The load times on the PS5 slim are also very impressive, and so are the graphics. I was playing RDR2 and it was absolutely beautiful, it was somehow better looking than when i play on my PC, which has a RTX 3050. I also am a fan of the casing, which is just my personal opinion, looks a lot better in person than shown in the image above. The only problem i had is during set up, when it was updating the controller firmware, it got stuck on a loading screen, but i managed to fix it by shutting off the console then turning it back on, but overall i highly recommend getting this console

This console is by far the greatest console Sony has created yet and changed the way I watch media and game at the same time. This console has allowed me to not only enjoy the games I love but has offered a more sophisticated gaming experience that allows me to enjoy my spare time. I can play video games and watch movies or gaming tutorials with the push of one button and quick switch between screens to pause or play music, not only that the console itself is great and I experience slim to no lag despite my connection being terrible especially on games such as Dragonball Sparking Zero or my personal favorite Metal Gear Online.

Great purchase everything works nice. No overheating and doesn’t take much space.

Playstation cares about the user experience. In the Ps4 and Ps3 era, the controller microhones and touchpads were gimmicks. But not any more. Playing Returnal with my Ps5 Pro controller, the onboard speaker actually does a lot for immersion! They've got it down. It turns on my Sony TV when I turn it on, and turns off when my tv turns off. My TCL doesn't do that. The headphone jack works great, even though it shuts off the speakerss on the TV, that's actually a benefit, because it's rare that you would want both and my wife can use it with no hassle. PS Plus is as good as Gamepass ever was now. Tons of PS1, PS2 and PS3/4 titles that you can download immediately or stream instantly. I can be nostalgic at the drop of a dime and I love it. Watching YouTube on my TV with headphones through the controller allows me to watch quietly with a big setup and mostly wirelessly. The haptic controllers are a really cool experience and are fun sometimes even if not all the time! Sony is more compatible with USB microphones that Xbox and you can just plug in some headphones that have a microphone without complicated work arounds like Xbox. It HDMI 2.1 for high refresh rates and resolutions, even if not customizable like a PC, the default settings often just work best. Overall, very pleased with mine. I was going to wait and upgrade to the Pro, but I haven't noticed any reason to do so. I'm a pretty discerning user, as I love high resolution and frame rates. So that's saying a lot! I also was doing some upgrades to my NAS (hard drive storage unit) and ordered an extra SSD. Well well well. My Xbox can't use that for extra storage, but my Sony Can! I DO tend to play my Xbox more because it has Roboquest. And that is really the only reason. I prefer the experience of my PS5 in almost every way.

I’ve been using the PS5 for a while now and it’s been a great experience overall. The performance is super smooth, games load incredibly fast, and the graphics are on another level compared to previous consoles. The controller feels great in hand and the adaptive triggers and haptic feedback actually make a noticeable difference when playing. It’s also really easy to navigate the menus and download games quickly. It can be a bit large in size, but that’s a small trade-off for how well it performs. Overall, I’m really happy with it and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade their gaming setup.

The PS5 is a great product overall. It looks excellent even on my 10-year-old TV, game selection includes PS4 games on disc (provided they were manufactured in the past five years or so) and the entertainment app selection is as good as any other console. The controller is a little small for my hands personally, but that’s just a question of managing settings. Also the physical design for with disc version is low key incredible.

Great console. Absolutely love my PS5! This console is a game-changer. The load times are almost nonexistent thanks to the super-fast SSD, and the graphics are stunning with 4K and ray tracing support. The DualSense controller is probably my favorite part — the adaptive triggers and haptic feedback really add an immersive touch to gameplay that I’ve never experienced before. If you’re thinking about upgrading or joining the PlayStation family, don’t hesitate. Totally worth it!

bought this as a christmas present for my mom to upgrade her from the ps4. resolution and smoother gameplay by far even with a limited edition ps4. mom loves it and now its easier for us to game together. If you're wondering if the upgrade is necessary or worth it I promise that you will see a big difference in gameplay.

Already had one PS5, but had to get another one to prevent the kids from fighting over who was able to play, so picked up the new PS5 slim with the disc drive. Love the new smaller design and the way it was revised with slightly different finishes and looks than the original. Super fast to setup and has been working perfectly since we got it. Not much else to say as it’s a great system and the best system that Sony has made to date as far as I’m concerned. Definitely recommend!

Got it for my grandson he is exactly the happiest boy he's ever been and the PlayStation is wonderful and I think Best buy cuz I started looking online and Best buy always comes through what a great company they really are I know I know how it is I work at Kroger's been at Kroger's for 33 years and I do appreciate Best buy I sure do thank you for all you do too

I bought the PlayStation 5 in this store and the experience has been impeccable. The console is a beast: non-existent loading times and graphics that leave you with your mouth open. The shipment was safe and arrived perfectly protected. It's worth every penny!
