Pretty much what you'd expect. This PS5 is slimmer than the original. The disc drive can be very loud at times, vibrating my entire desk. While it is to be expected for new consoles these days, the setup process took a very long time. Needing to update the console itself, the controller, and having to stop and register the disc drive was very irritating when all I wanted to do was play Spider-Man. The console crashed twice during setup, but luckily this hasn't caused any issues that I am aware of. Additionally, I would've preferred to have the game disc instead of a digital download. The game took way longer than it should have to download, and this was because I realized after 1 hour that you have to manually tell the console to use the ethernet connection instead of Wi-Fi. Speaking of features that would be nice to have on a modern system, Bluetooth audio is completely missing from this system. Good console overall, but kind of a letdown for 500 dollars.

Its smaller, its less loud, theres more storage. It was the perfect time with spiderman coming out. Im glad i purchased

Amazing console and experience shopping at Best Buy. Everything was completely new, sealed and with no defects. You can really notice an improvement between old consoles and this new gen. I would recommend however, to buy a display that can natively run at 120Hz to get the most out of your money.

the PS5 slim works as expected and fits behind my tv, i wish it came with a stand though, i prefer to stand it up.

This is my first game console since I own the original PlayStation 3. All I have to say is that it is amazing. The graphics are out of this world. I love that it plays 4K ultra high def Blu-ray movies and it looks fantastic on my brand new LG OLED TV that I bought from Best Buy as well. Best Buy once again really helped me figure out which console best suited my needs and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase.

The console was super easy to set up with the app. I enjoy the overall experience of the console. It is quick, responsive, and has most features I would expect. All games I have tried so far play great, and take advantage of the features of the dualsense controller. It has surprised me how much I have enjoyed the interacive features you can use during gameplay, such as mission help, or earning a specific trophy.

The backwards compatibility with PS4 games gives extra value to this already impressive system. I would highly recommend this console to both casual and hardcore gamers! The Spider-Man 2 bundle is a must for Marvel fans everywhere.

This new slim design saves space and looks more elegant, its, very easy to install and activate your account.

This is really for my son, but he loves it. he said its faster, better, graphics better and all around better than his previous PS. The controller it came with was broken so we had to return the whole thing which was annoying after he loaded it, but BB was easy. Only complaint I'd have then is yes its the slim version, but its such a bizarre big shape, can you really put it anywhere but standing upright? The xbox is a box, which honestly makes more sense.

I’m a PC gamer through and through. I’ve owned consoles and still do. From PS1, PS2, PS3, Xbox, Xbox 360, n64, both Wii consoles, up to newer gen Xbox one X and now the PS5.. I’m not a scrub when it comes to gaming on multiple platforms so when I tell you I’m impressed with the performance of the PS5, this is coming from someone who builds high end gaming rigs for fun! I still primarily game on my PC, but I get hours of enjoyment playing on the PS5.
