The playstation 5 truly is a nice peice of hardware, it impressive both in performance gains and graphical improvements. The real glaring issue is the appeal of the console. You pay $500+ dollars for no games. Although it is does not have the issue of having bad releases like Microsoft, the releases they have are very mediocre. And when it comes to the last gen library having to buy a separate copy for 10 extra dollars is stupid considering for the same upgrades xbox is free and pc has sliders. I recommend you skip the ps5 and just invest in a pc (which you can build at the same price). Unless you have family members.

I love my PS5 what else can I say! I did buy an external hard drive because I play Call of Duty & as we know there are ALWAYS updates on the new maps etc., so I would highly recommend an external hard drive to keep the PlayStation running smoothly & keep the storage freed up on it for its own system updates.

The graphics are amazing! The controller is the best I’ve used for any console.

When I was in high school my PS3 was stolen from my house a day before the summer break so yeah since then I have always wanted a console again, I get to borrow some friends PS4 and get to play some games like RDR2, BF4, The las of us, Uncharted, and a few more but the console wasn't my property. So for this holiday with 27yo I decided it was time for my little to have what was taken from him...

The PlayStation 5, or PS5 bundle with Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is a great value product. It comes with the console, all the cables you need, a controller, and a digital copy of Marvel's Spider-Man 2 to play with. The console is backward compatible with all PS4 games, so if you don't own many PS5 games, don't worry, you can play your old games as well. The feel of the console feels premium, and the included stand to prop it vertically was easy to insert into the proper slots. I wish it came with a vertical stand as well, but that's just a minor nitpick. If you want to stand it up vertically, you'd need to buy a separate stand for that. The PS5 Slim is also remarkably smaller than the PS4 Pro that I own and is much quieter in comparison besides the startup sound of the disk drive when you first boot it up with a disc in either from standby mode or from off. The controller is bigger ergonomically than the original PS4 controller but doesn't feel bad. The controller is shaped in a way that even those with smaller hands can feel comfortable holding. The adaptive triggers take some getting used to, but feel fine for the most part. Overall, I highly recommend the PS5 Slim.
