The new playstation 5 slim (Disk edition) has got better dimensions now which makes the whole console much more flexible to carry and place it in or under t.v unit. The new design feels futuristic and adds fresh look, yes if there were additional tweaks and new features it would’ve been much better. Pros: Thanks to the new SSD which added extra 100 gigs to the storage which was a good move. Also detachable Disk drive is cool option in order to provide digital users a chance to upgrade. I like the bundles which are included with new gen games like spider man 2 , latest COD and cricket these are worthy bundles as they are only available with disk edition for an extra 70-90 dollars. My suggestion : Prefer digital edition if you need the best size over the disk edition which is only little smaller than original playstation 5. If size isn’t a big issue and if you need disk edition console with worthy game then go with disk edition bundle. I too need the smaller digital edition now will return the disk edition soon. Cons : - No upgrades in hardware components and performance - No upgrades on dualshock controller in terms of looks and feel - Overall plastic quality could’ve been better - Digital edition is priced 50$ extra over last gen console which is very bad move in order to urge customers to look at disk edition deals which offer disk option, game bundles with 70-80$ price difference. - Not a viable upgrade from original playstation 5 only new customers can prefer this slim edition.

Phenomenal console. Made the switch from Xbox Series S and the PS5 feels like a Mercedes compared to a Chrysler. Graphics are incredible, what this machine can output is very impressive. Once I learned the UI, I can appreciate it more. It does produce some noise and heat, so make sure if it’s in a TV stand or console, that it has plenty of room to breathe and dissipate the heat. Controllers are nice with the speaker and adaptive trigger, but the battery only lasts around 6 hours for me.

In case you haven’t heard, this is the best console out there on the market. I have all of the next gen consoles, and this is the second PS5 in our house - my teen wanted her own. PS5 offers some incredible games. Don’t listen to the Xbox fanboys. While they play Foot Simulator on Gamepass I played franchises like Spider-Man, LOU, GOW, Horizon, Ratchet, Demons Souls, FF, and many others. My Series X has not been turned on in months. In all seriousness, Series X and GP is great for a younger audience, and Sony definitely is for the more mature and story driven audience.

I was nervous to see if there would be a catch when purchasing this PS5 bundle because of it being cheaper/the same price as just buying a PS5 without the game, but nope, it comes exactly as it says with the console and a code to download Spiderman 2 (which I am enjoying more than I expected). The box it was shipped in was torn up when I received it and the console packaging also had some holes and rips (see pic), but the console itself was undamaged and works perfectly. Currently playing through Spiderman 2 and FVII Remake, and both games run great, so I'm glad that I decided to purchase despite my apprehension.

The PS5 slim is near perfect. I love the size and price. I feel like the original PS5 is extremely bulky. It is almost like having a computer tower for a console. The slim is way less bulky (even with the disc drive), It is not very heavy, and takes up less space. The slim is more of what I thought the original PS5 would be. The Spider-man 2 bundle is a very fair price especially since it comes with one of the best games for the PS5. The only thing I don't like is the amount of storage. It is almost necessary to add internal storage which is the only downside. I added 1TB of internal storage (I recommend doing this especially if you have a lot of games, Playstation plus extra, or Premium) and it was extremely easy to install, but I wish I would have installed 2TB. If you are looking for a new system, then the size, price, Spider-man 2 included, and their collection of playstation exclusives, the PS5 Slim is a no brainer.

I own one of the first PS5’s that was released. When I opened this box and saw how much smaller this Slim PS5 was, I couldn’t believe it. So much better! And looks good too. It is packed full of features that gamers want. Fast, beautiful graphics, and easy to set up, you’ll be gaming in minutes. It doesn’t come with a vertical stand, so if you want to have a smaller footprint, I’d recommend buying one.

Console works like a charm. The HDMI cable that came with console didn’t work. I bought the Console to play Hogwarts Legacy and I was not disappointed. I own a Nintendo Switch and Hogwarts Legacy renders beautifully on the PS5. Graphics and performance are very good with very short waits when moving from one location to another in the game. I am very satisfied with my purchase so far.

I was hesitant to buy the PS5 becuase I had a PS4 PRO and was worried the PS5 would struggle with storage or not have too much of a difference but it is night and day. The storage can still hold lots at around 600Gb or so and the loading screens are way smoother. I was used to 5-10 second loading screens on all my games and sometimes crashing in the loading screens but this one (PS5) runs so quick and I don't pay much attention to graphics so I can't say that it feels like the main selling point, but it still looks really good and being abke to run over 60 fps is really a game changer for more tactical fps games. I would strongly recommend this as a gift for you or a loved one that likes to play games, theres tons more features and little bifty things I would go into detail in but for the sake of not making too long of a review I'll leave it with this ; If you appreciate quality in your console gaming expirience the PS5 has tons to offer, it will be different in most aspects to the last gen consoles, but the changes are for the better, and if you play a lot of games, its more of an investment for your enjoyment than it is a $500 console.

It's been about a month since my purchase, and I do NOT have any regrets. Many people online have negative opinions on this "slimmer" ps5, but so far this has been an amazing purchase. It's more compact, runs extremely quiet with several hours of gameplay, and it plays beautifully on my computer monitor running 120Hz. It does not come with a stand, but personally I think that you can still stand it up vertically perfectly fine without a stand, just make sure to place it in an open space where the PS5 can breath and you'll have zero issues. Have not had a playstation console since the PS2 -- if you're trying to get back into console gaming, the PS5 is PERFECT. Many amazing exclusive games have come out, and the playstation online store runs very smooth (unlike nintendo switch e-store). Even though this has increased 1TB memory, I would still recommend purchasing an SSD and installing yourself, Sony's design has made this very easy to install, which is another plus! I also enjoy the PS duel sense controller over the xbox. For anyone thinking of buying the PS5, the answer will be YES everytime.

I have every generation of PlayStation consoles. The PS5 is the best. I have a lot of PS4 games and they load quicker on the PS5 and all seem to run better. Both the graphics and sound quality are improved. The latest dual shock 5 controller is super comfortable. Spider Man 2 is included and is a great game. Note that there is another free game included - Astro's Playroom. That game is a blast to play and it really showcases the capabilities of the dual shock 5 controller's haptic feedback. There are tons of cool items to find in that game that honor the history of PlayStation from the very beginning in 1994 when the original PlayStation first launched in Japan all the way to today. Don't forget to play it. The slim version of the PS5 looks really good in its shrunk down size (approx. 30% smaller) and it doesn't dominate your entertainment center like the original full sized model. I stand mine vertically without the optional stand and it seems stable without the optional stand.

I enjoyed the regular PS5 and now look forward to this version, the console is beautiful to look at, and the contoller is lightweight, this has always been the things i enjoy about the PS5 out of the box. while still a little disappointed the controllers built in battery isnt large enough to accomidate super long gaming, its still got loads of features built in. my one wish is that Sony would incorperate some options in their controllers with Rubberized grips. microsoft has them on certian special edition controllers, and they are comfortable to hold, help me forget the added weight of the controller. this console still has the expandable NVME slot, but be warned if your expansion drive barely fit due to a bigger heatsink, it wont fit in this one, so you’ll have to install a low profile heatsink. when you first start it up it registers the disc drive to the console… hopefully, that means should the common issue of the disc drive going bad should occur a hot swap of the seperate disc drive will fix it. or maybe Sony will just make the console a brick.
