Best Buy shipped this item with no padding within the box, causing damage to the box during transit. To make matters worse, the seal of the box lid was slashed cleanly, which is unacceptable for a new item. As this is a limited edition item, of course Best Buy did not have additional stock to replace the item due to damage. I called customer support, and they agreed to refund me $50 for the damage. However, they strung me along by only offering it in a gift card mailed to me. 4 months later and I have already documented multiple calls to their support team asking for updates on the gift card, and the gift card has still never arrived.

Product arrived with seal broken and item was opened prerviously. This is a limited item and should have been handled better than this. I am going to have to return this

Horrible customer service ; horrible packaging; horrible best buy … took forever to find & purchase this collectible item just for it to be mishandled and damaged … best buy refuses to refund or help with the item .

As someone who has owned every generation of the Playstation through the years, I felt this was a must buy. Luckily, Best Buy came through. Unfortunately, a lot of others out there weren't as lucky as this console was sold out everywhere in minutes. And there were a few small restocks since. I've had this for well over a week now and as much as I like how the system looks and that it gives me memories of the 90s, it still plays like a regular PS5, with a couple of flaws. You do get a vertical stand and some other extras. However, it doesn't have a disc drive. That is disappointing considering throughout Playstation's history the disc drive and physical media was such a huge part in its success. Having one included would have been a nice touch. There is an option to buy a disc drive add on for it and the console comes with a matching disc drive cover. However, the disc drive hasn't been available days after the launch of the PS5 pro, which is over a month now. So, if you still use physical media, you're going to have to wait probably for a while unless you want to buy from a scalper. The other part is the housing for the usb connector that resembles the connector for the original PS1. The flaw here is that when you connect it, it covers both usb connections in front of the system. Not a big deal for me but just something to keep in mind. Overall, it's a great looking system and I hope there are restocks of these soon for others to get the chance to buy one. But unless you are a collector or someone who really enjoyed Playstation through the years, you really aren't missing out on anything. And would I recommend it? Yes, but only if you can buy it at the retail price.

Havent had a limitef edition run like this one! From the whole unboxing experience to the console itself, everything was unique. Loved the extra accessories that came with the console such as a cable that mimics the old PS1 controller cable along with the 30th anniversary sprinkled all along the controller, console and packaging. I already love the PS5 but with these extra bonuses on top was a no brainer. Would highly recommend this bundle to others!

Sony knocks it out of the park with this 30th anniversary edition. The two tones of grey are a perfect match to the PS1. The controller is just as wonderful with the two tones of grey. The charging cable with the attachment to resemble the original connector. The box is also well done. The only downside is that the unit doesnt come with the option of having a disc drive. But overall very excited that i was able to get my hands on one for my own collection.

Playstation 5 30th anniversary digital Edition First of. Thank you best buy for always coming through with every limited edition products. I'm always lucky to get that set item. Back to the subject on hand. This console looks incredible wow!! It blew my mind how beautiful this design of the PS1!! Even the box looks like it was planned and crafted with playstation love. The zip ties and the controller look sweeeeet! Must buy for any playstation retro fan.

Where do I even start, the console just brings back so many memories for the 90s and the original playstation. It looks the part and the color scheme is amazing! I wish they had included the disc drive in the package, but getting just the 30th anniversary console itself is a huge accomplishment. Delivery was great, got it within 2 days of placing the order. No damage to the box or anything.

Great design but knocking a star since it was harder to get a disc drive than the actual console. Regular slim consoles are pretty much always on sale now so the 30th anniversary should’ve at least came with the drive bundled

I absolutely love this PS5. As someone who grew up with the original PlayStation, this anniversary edition was an instant buy for the nostalgia alone. The controller looks stunning, feels incredibly premium, and I appreciate that even the accessories, like the charging cable, are thoughtfully PlayStation-themed. The console itself performs flawlessly. Games run smoothly, and it’s easily my favorite system to play on. Sony truly outdid themselves with this special edition, and it’s one I plan to hold on to for a long time.

Beautiful product reminds me of the original PlayStation from when I was a kid works seamlessly. I would definitely recommend this product to another consumer looking into an item like this.

30th Anniversary is amazing! The packaging and the console is worth the money! If you can get your hands on one this is the console to have. Pure nostalgia from the colors in the logo to the actual color of the console!

What a great looking system with the old school gray PS1 look. The slim system is awesome and a option to add the disc drive makes it even better which comes with the cover for it

Awesome console great flashback to the og console with the classic logo on both the console and the controller my favorite part mostly being the controller with all of the classic colors with the greys and colorful button and going into the hardware its been amazing super fast and smooth offering an amazing experience
