I already owned an Xbox Series X and wanted the best of both worlds so I finally bought this PS5 Slim and I am absolutely loving it. It runs very smooth and I can now play all of the amazing Sony exclusive games like Ghost of Tsushima and Helldivers 2, which is the main reason for my purchase. Console is quiet and it looks cool. The only downside is the Dual Sense Controller has a very short battery life compared to what I'm used to (Xbox Elite mk2 controller with a ridiculously long battery life). Despite that, 10 out of 10 from me.

Order this PlayStation for the theater room. Within 2 days it was overheating and turning off. Went back to best buy and they replaced with no questions asked. The new PlayStation works wonderfully.

I originally bought this device because I had family visiting for a short stay, and it was between this and a nintendo switch and it turned out to be an excellent choice. It exceeded my expectations and continues to bring enjoyment even now. It’s perfect for when family visits, as it gets the job done. It runs games effortlessly and is a powerhouse I have never experince lag that wasnt network related and the loading times are insanley fasy compared to the ps4 I previously owned. Highly recommend for anyone in a similar situation! Although the storage was definitley now where near enough with some games easily occupying 10% to 25% of the storage. Another note the controllers feel great but are very flimsy even with minamal use you start to experince stick drift.

First, I appreciate the lower price of the digital edition. Sure there are downsides to not being able to use a disc however kids don't respect the disc anyway. If this were mine alone (if I enjoyed gaming) then the disc option is nice for sell/buy/trade. Second, I can't speak much for performance myself, but my teen loves it. Graphics look amazing to me! Third, my son isn't very techie for a teen so I have to do the work of setting things up. It was just as much of a pain as the PS4. Mostly my 45yo brain trying to remember (and be calm). It is important to go through and be sure things are truly locked down from our younger child. Fourth, online purchase and pick up from Best Buy is always a good experience.
