My husband owned the PS3 for years and out of the blue it stopped working. He’s not a huge gamer by any means but it’s something he enjoys in his free time. After not playing his PS3 in a couple years, I decided to buy him (us) the PS5 as I’ve heard the picture quality is outstanding and it’s so realistic. I bought him a bunch of games, the console, controllers, etc. He was so ecstatic that some games have a colorblind feature (something his old console didn’t do). He really enjoys this new consoles and all the games so far; his favorite the Last Part of Us 1 & 2. The only thing we noticed is the storage fills up significantly fast so I’ll have to buy a separate storage thing for this.

Got this for Christmas for my teenage son as he had a PS4. I love that you can still use the PS4 games on the PS5 console. Love how it's not bulky and a simple setup. Definitely worth the buy!

Nice playstation, smaller than the firat so it helps save space its fast and smooth.

Graphics are superior. Love the fact that the games are all downloads instead of having them on disc. Prevents scratching and the game not functioning. The design of the console is slick. It also pairs nicely with my backbone.

I would recommend. It has quick loading times. It is a lot smaller than my regular disc version, but it works just as well.

i got 2 xbox series x before this and had trouble out of both of them from lagging bad and controller delay, so i decided to try ps5 slim and im so impressed of the speed and the video graphics, im glad i swapped to the ps5 now, i will never own another micrsoft product.

First ever PlayStation, system itself is great! Not a fan of the controller with my hand being a little larger, making the controller a little awkward to hold. Prefer the beefier Xbox controller but a lot of my online friends went PC and PlayStation. Anyway great console.

The graphics are incredible — everything looks sharp, detailed, and truly next-gen. It really feels like gaming has been taken to another level. Performance is smooth and fast, and the overall experience is immersive from start to finish. This console makes every session feel premium.

Don’t buy open box. The vouchers won’t be included. And their shipping times are not accurate. Im not the only reviewer that encountered this issue. Best Buy knows about this but just passes on the cost and loss to its customers. I could’ve saved over $100 & just got the regular digital version without the extras. & I would have returned it, but my son purchased it thru my Klarna account & he already set it up. I’ll never buy from here again. There’s no option to complain to customer service about the missing vouchers. Buy from game stop, I’ve always purchased used consoles from them & had no issues. I had better luck buying PlayStations on offer up than with Best Buy. This is my first time buying a console from Best Buy & my last. Never again. They can’t even provide the items that were supposed to be included, & that I paid for. I paid and held up my end of the deal, but they don’t even have to give u what u purchased & they won’t. Ud think after spending almost $500 that ud get a decent product. I could have just got one on offer up, and probably should have, but wanted peace of mind with my purchase, and I didn’t even get that. Best Buy is too greedy to give u what u pay for. False advertising.

this runs quiet and very smooth i have had it for half a year now and no issues

I have been wanting this platform for a while. I have been using the competition since the 360 came out. This is a very nice unit with very nice graphics. I'm not a gamer by any means. I'm in my 50's and use the console when I have time. My only gripe is many games require an online account to unlock the full games, even the games on CD.

I've had a PS4 for the longest time and I can see the difference in the speeds and quality (esp paired with a good TV) with the PS5. Controller is great, the longer hand grip fits my hands perfectly. The storage is good enough for like a game or two, that's how I play anyway so it works well for me.

Very awesome console.. the graphics are amazing and the game selection is never ending. I would highly recommend one as a gift during the holidays or just as a surprise.
