As a devoted Xbox fan, taking the leap to the PS5 Digital Edition felt like a risk, but it paid off immediately. I chose the all-digital model—just like my last Xbox—for the unbeatable price and the convenience of a scratch-free, disc-less library. The transition was flawless: setup was quick and satisfying, and the visuals were stunning right out of the gate. I was pleasantly surprised by the comfort of the controller, but the real game-changer is the PlayStation App. Its ease of use and deep connection to the console are worlds better than the unreliable Xbox app I was used to.

Coming from an Xbox Series X, this is a completely different experience. The controller has to be the best i’ve ever used, the haptics aren’t just rumbles that happen every now and again when there’s an explosion. They direct sound and immerse you in a level I haven’t experienced. The microphone, speakers, touchpad, and adaptive triggers all in one package is truly impressive. The original play and look amazing on OLED screens and price to performance couldn’t be better. Does get a bit louder with fan noise than the Xbox, but can be greatly minimized by putting it to your right.

I bought the PS5 Slim from Best Buy and I’m really happy with it. The design is clean and it doesn’t take up much space. It runs super smooth and games load fast. The graphics look amazing and it’s pretty quiet while playing. Setup was easy and everything worked right away. Overall, great purchase and I’d definitely recommend it.

I’ve had my PS5 for a couple of days now, and I’m already blown away by how much it’s changed my gaming experience. Boot-up times are ridiculously fast thanks to the SSD — I’m in the game within seconds instead of waiting forever. Load screens feel like a thing of the past, especially in open-world games like Horizon Forbidden West and Spider-Man.

Like the regular PS5, but slightly smaller. I wouldn’t really call it “slim”, just smaller and they made it more modular. This is the digital version, so no disc drive, but you can add a detachable one, sold separately. The face plates are in four sections instead of two, to accommodate the detachable disc drive. Addtionally, this model doesn’t come with a stand, like the disc drive, you have to buy that separately. You can do without, but it will be wobbly, but still functional. They added an extra USB port on the front, which is greatly appreciated. Other than that, it’s basically the same as the base PS5 digital that came out in 2020. Same specs, same 825 gigabyte internal HD, etc. If you already have the original model, skip this one and wait for either the upcoming PS5 Pro or the yet to be released PS6.

Amazing love it. Comes with one remote, no disc drive, and no vertical stand. Just so yall are aware, I knew this when buying. I got it during the Black Friday sale but the taxes/etc. brought it up to almost the normal price. Great so far and the graphics/everything are amazing. Definitely recommend if you‘re looking for an upgrade like I was. Having been loving the horizon series since I got it.

I bought this PS5 for my wife as a Christmas gift. She doesn’t game much but played the PS2 back in the day. This console was extremely easy to set up, and use. The games look amazing, the controller battery is phenomenal and it works like a charm. -Pros: Great selection of games. Comfortable controller. Easy to set up and use. -Cons: Only 1TB hard drive. Overall, a fantastic purchase.

I’ve played for over 10 years on Xbox playing first person shooters and racing simulation games. But lately I have gotten tired of how bad some of the new games on Xbox I’ve been so I decided to switch and try a PlayStation five and all I can say is why did I wait so long, the graphics are just amazing on Gran Tursimo 7 and its lightning fast and hasnt frozen like my series x would do. My only complaint would be at how fast download speeds are. War thunder on my series x took only 90mins to download. On my ps5 it took 28hours! Same wifi same internet speeds test but it sure is slower! But will i return it back? Nope. Im hooked!
