Nothing but problems. Arrived late. Missing packaging and most of the accessories. Console was just banging around in a box half wrapped in bubble wrap with the controller and cables in a dirty Ziploc bag. All the surfaces looked like it went through a dryer with a load of gravel. The disc drive sounded like a gas weed eater starting. As bad as the product was, the customer service was worse. Sadly it's more of the status quo.

This PS5 is now exhibiting coil whining when playing games. It doesn't seem to be coming from the disc so the only other option is the cooling fan. I have an original PS5 from 2020 and haven't noticed anything this noisy from it. Sure, the Blu-ray disc is loud at first, but there is no whining noise coming from it.

If there is 0 star I’ll give it to them I ordered ps5 open box Excellent condition but I got used one many scratches on it and there is no cable no controller nothing i recmond dont trust best buy any more

I bought a PS5 from Best Buy and only used it twice. The second time I played it—for just 10 minutes—it overheated and shut off completely. When I tried to return it, I was only 3 days past the return window, and they refused to exchange it or offer any help at all. Best Buy clearly doesn’t care about their customers. They just want to take your money and push expensive protection plans because they know the products they sell aren’t built to last. It feels like a trap—sell defective products and make more money off “warranty” plans. I spent a lot of money on something that stopped working almost immediately, and Best Buy’s solution was: “Too bad.” Shop somewhere that stands behind what they sell. Best Buy has lost my business for good.

I believe I got the best price on this PS5 in recent time.

I want to hear an answer from Best Buy, I bought a PlayStation 5+ steering wheel, joystick and pedal for a child, well, after two months I decided to bring it back to return the goods, I bought insurance for two years to return the goods within two years, but the store refused to accept it back, explained to me that a lot of time had passed, I asked him why I bought insurance if I can’t return it, they said we can only return $200 cash and give you $400 GIF card, but I don’t need a GIF card, and in the end, when I bought it, I spent $850, and when I came to return it, they gave me $400 GIFT cards and $200 in cash, that is, they returned all $800, only $50, and not even cash in full, so I’m very unhappy, does anyone know the solution to this issue, why are they doing this?

I have been having all kinds of trouble out of mine

On January 1st 2025 I ordered a PS5 Slim Fortnite Cobalt at the Rego Park store which was to arrive on January 8th 2025 it never came and this was for a birthday gift to take on January 12th which i was not able to do. I went to the store on January 13th they told me it was sold out and that the promotion was longer available. I asked to talk to the manager to try and get other PS5 with the same promotion and manager didn't even show his face just told the person at customer service to tell me either cancel the order or buy at the regular price. And here i am left embarrassed, disappointed and angry.

Thought I would save some money and get an open box ps5. Boy was that a mistake. When you buy open box you get the console, a controller, hdmi cable, and the power cord. No controller charging cable. If you take a chance. Do not get it shipped to you. The used consoles have very minimal padding in the box. Perhaps the is why I received mine broken? Or maybe testing doesnt not included try a game in the system. Either way used system excellent condition 100 dollars less. Just spend the extra and buy new. Here is hoping for fast shipping and a faster refund.

This item was packed with dust and had minor scuffs from where console and controller were sitting on a table top.

Bought a playstation for christmas for my kids and i can not create or log into a sony account. It says my email is already associated with an account but I can not recover it or log into it. There is NO support for this. Ive tried calling multiple times every day and the msg says sorry we're experiencing a large call volume and voice support is not available then hangs up. I have an xbox currently but thought id try a new platform. Its been a week with this anchor if i dont hmget tech support soon. Ill be returning.

Disappointed in the product as it failed to work after only 6 months of use. Also had a horrible experience exchanging the PS5 at the Eastvale store. Since this PS5 bundle no longer sold at Best Buy was forced to pay more for the exchange with a warranty. In my view not standing behind your product for an even exchange when the new PS5 was same console minus the extra game which did not really matter in the end.

Brand new PS5 with disc drive and the disc drive doesn't read any discs. Tried a few things to try and get it to work but to no avail.... This is definitely not the Christmas my child was expecting although we will be returning for a new one and hopefully that one works. What a burden just to play some video games. I miss time when things were much simpler.

I have been met with poor customer service from the team leader and the Greenwood Best Buy every time I go in there. I love to shop at Best Buy but at this point I’m ready to find a new store.

I only had my console for about a month or so before I actually moved it out if its original postion amd it was working fine it never went anywhere but I winded up seeing the signal being lost in game despite me being able to play it just a sceond before. I had to bring it back to the store and did not get what I even payed for it back, since it was apart of a bundle that they no longer had…
