A worthy upgrade to my PS4

The slim PS5 with disk is a worthy replacement for my trusty old friend. The new controller is also amazing. It keeps the comfort of the classic PS controllers we all know and love, and adds some very cool rumble and force-feedback capabilities. I wasn't sure how I'd feel about them, but I'm a convert and the old controllers feel kind of "dead" to me now. One thing to note - this machine does get pretty hot when its going all-out, so do not tuck it into a cabinet or obstruct its vents.

Graphics are superb. And the added features to the control makes you feel even closer into the gaming. Highly recommend it.

Slightly smaller than the original but still big. Nice little stand to lay it horizontally. I play with my kids when they are at their other house so imagine the screaming coming through the controller. Lego Fortnite private LAN for the three of us. Specs maxed out 120 fps, VRR, HDR. Make sure your TV is PS5 ready. And imagine all the exclusive games. This is the best gaming console.

However, it falls short compared to the Xbox Series X in several areas. The PS5's bulky design and limited, expensive storage options are drawbacks. Exclusive titles are sparse, and backward compatibility isn't seamless. Load times are better on the Xbox Series X, which allows you to run multiple games without closing them and even resume from a paused state after shutdown. Additionally, Xbox Game Pass provides a better game library and value. Moreover, Xbox customer service is more responsive, and PS Plus feels outdated and overpriced compared to Xbox's offerings. While the PS5 has potential, it needs improvements to fully justify its price and hype.
