The slimmer case, in my opinion is better looking and more convenient for placement on a desk, shelf, or any place you put it. As far as the system, no isses with it at all.

Once I heard the slim version was coming out with more storage and a free game for $499, I had to buy it.

Everything else is the same but it’s good to have a smaller console because i actually travel with mines.
