Although this console is bigger, its thin design makes it easy to basically put anywhere! The graphics are insane, the speed is much faster and we love that the controller has a built-in two-way mic so we don’t have to wear a headset unless we want to. I only wish we hadn’t waited so long to upgrade and would definitely recommend this to anyone who is still as much into PlayStation these days as everyone is in my house!

The PS5 Slim Disc Edition is everything I wanted—same great performance in a much slimmer design. Runs quietly, loads fast, and the extra storage is a big win. Glad I went with the disc version—super convenient. No regrets! Best investment of the year!

The PS5 is a very powerful console with 4K graphics, almost instantaneous loading times and a DualSense controller that offers vibration and very immersive adaptive triggers. Its catalogue includes great exclusives such as Spider-Man 2 and God of War: Ragnarök, as well as being compatible with most PS4 games. It is quiet, fast and offers a modern experience, although its size is large and storage may fall short. Overall, it is one of the best consoles today for performance, comfort and exclusive games.

My sibling absolutely loves the PlayStation 5 Slim, and after seeing how much time they spend using it, it’s easy to understand why. One of the first things they noticed was how much smaller and sleeker it is compared to the original PlayStation 5. I wouldn’t know where to begin. It’s perfect in every way! Grapics are phenomenal, runs as smooth as butter. For a compact system this is definitely the way to go! Surpassed my expectations but then again it’s a PlayStation…I could go on for hours.

Five years in to the console lifecycle and due to a promotion to trade in my ps4, i jumped in and bought a ps5 slim disc version. The graphics are a boost from the ps4 and the loading time for ps5 times is impressive. I also like that you can add an extra M2 SSD to your console along with extended drives to play ps4 games from. Adding the M2 SSD drive is super easy and there lots of online videos for guidance. I'd recommend using the new hdmi cable that comes with the game as the hdmi port is fickle when using an older hdmi cable that was plugged/unplugged frequently will cause issues with the screen going black randomly. My major complaint is the stock ssd is pitiful at 1TB which 200+GB is used for system storage software. My understanding is that M2 SSDs keep coming down in price but yet the console manages to going up in price. My second complaint is the price. If the ps5 pro wasn't so expensive, I would have considered purchasing it. Thank fully the trade in for my ps4 helped bring down the price. If it wasn't for the trade in offer, I might have waited on the ps6.

As someone who casually plays video games and was an avid Xbox player for the last 15+ years I had been itching to upgrade to a newer console, unfortunately Microsoft really missed the opportunity to get players back into their ecosystem on Black Friday After owning this PS5 slim for a little over a month it has been nothing short of amazing, the graphics are stellar, the performance is right where I want it to be and the Price Sony had on these was great, being a 5 year old console now I still feel there’s much more room for them to build upon this system! My only gripe is the battery life on the controller and storage. 1TB (about 850gb total) seems like a lot but when you have to install the games onto the hard drive internally (rather than just being able to load the disc and play the game) each game is getting increasingly larger with every release, so I’d say upgrade the SSD to something around 2-4TB if you plan on playing multiple titles

Ive waitied awhile before purchasing a PS5. Wanted to wait until the price went down. When i read prices were going up because of tarrifs, i saved the money and purchased one. Definitely impressed with its sleek and modern design. Runs very quietly, like a PC. Streaming is a blaze as well as gameplay. Graphics have definitely come a long way since the PS1. I love that i can also purchase older backwards compatible PlayStation games.
