Ps5 slim gets very hot and needs to be turned off at times and for $500 i dont think its worth it...I might as well buy a pc

We were very excited to upgrade to a PS5 after 10 years on a PS4. This product has been unfortunately problematic. The PS5 will draw a lot of power causing the breaker to trip. We've tried putting on different circuits and had the same issue. We also tried using a battery back up so that if the breaker trips we have time to reset it before the PS5 shuts off. This is when we discovered it's tripping itself.

Broke on ne after 16 days could not return to Best Buy called Sony they were great about repairing it and sending back for free all cost covered but was a headache having to call and shipping it and waiting to be fixed

There was an Issue with the hdmi port, at the store to see if they can fix it or will

They said PS5 was going to be great and all the games are mediocre as instead of great games they just want you to buy subscriptions. This is the last game system will ever spend money on.

Controller had some stick drift. Called local number goes to a call center. They told me to come in and bring the controller to look at it. Went in geek squad at the store said unable to do anything unless I bring the ps5 console back. Asked for a manager to call which never happened. Awful service

stylish (if you have a star wars stormtrooper vibe going on) but i loathe the ps5 interface. call me an old timer but ill stick with ps4.

They did not let me purchase but they are go digital games

I was charged for 3 Playstation when I only purchased one. Very unhappy

I just bought this system at the beginning of January for myself. Imagine my surprise that only 2 months later, the system will not turn on. Not overused and was not left on. Power cord works in my printer so I know it’s the system itself. Definitely will not buy Sony products again

It broke within a few months. We had to take it to a repair shop because geek squad/ Best Buy wouldn’t do anything about it. They said we’d have to go through Sonys warranty process and mail the system to them to inspect. It was just annoying overall but luckily the repair shop that we found had it fixed within 20 minutes.

Horrible games crash regret my purchase. Open box i would imagine it would get tested

I just bought this and the dvd part is not work at all smh

Package was stolen by Roadie delivery driver. BestBuy wouldn’t give me a refund or replace the stolen ps5.

How Much Longer? Ordered P.S. 5 on 11/14/24 and I am still waiting for it to ship. Order is DELAYED and since I ordered it. I saw two other offers I could have gone with since then and YES I AM STILL WAITING

Defective stopped working within 6 months and I didn’t play it much.

I return the item back it was supposed to be a gift but it did not work well with that

Opend it pluged it in it said the ps5 is banned how idk it was brand new i guess it wasn't The worst part was a gift for someone
