Fun console that I bought for my husband this Christmas

I purchased a playstation 5 brand new from the 125 nw loop best buy location in san antonio texas on sunday 5/12. When i got home to open the item, the ps5 was broken. The cover was broken, with black smudges. when i went to return the ps5 the very next day 5/13 best buy refused to accept the refund because "the serial number console didnt match the box." regardless of the reason why they wouldnt accept my return, it was the very next day and they still denied me. If they think i am lying and switched out consoles, why would i purchase a protection plan, gaes, and an extra controller. I was completely scammed from best buy given a broken console. I am completely heartbroken an i do not know what to do. I returned the ps5 in the mail to bset buy and now i must wait 20 days for further notice. I pray to god i get a full refund or free exchange because this is completely unprofessional from best buy. worst experience ever. I will be canceling my credit card with best buy.

I have had no issues so far, and the 1TB of storage is enough for several games. The new matte finish is a nice improvement, since it does not show scratches like the old glossy design. The controllers feel solid and comfortable, with no problems at all. It is a PlayStation: you turn it on and play games, and it does that very well. Very satisfied with the purchase from Best Buy.

Upgraded to this from the Xbox One and it's the craziest difference in performance, speed, and graphics. Controller is amazing too with the haptic feedback in the triggers. The slim model is also nice because its not as bulky as the original PS5
