After some searching, I noticed that Best Buy had same-day pickup available at a location about 30 miles from me. I made the drive, and honestly, it was worth it. The pickup process couldn’t have been easier. It took me less than five minutes in the store to get my PS5 along with an additional controller. The staff was helpful, organized, and made the whole experience smooth from start to finish. The console itself is amazing. Setting it up was simple, and I’ve been enjoying every minute of gaming since. I waited for several years to upgrade from PS4 to PS5. When I found out that I was going to be forced to upgrade if I wanted to keep playing online I wasn't very happy, PlayStation is getting rid of the online network for PS4. My wife purchased the PS5 for me for Christmas and, while the cost is higher than I'd like, the quality really shines through, from the online network, to the PlayStation and controllers. I only have 1 actual PS5 game right now but when I play the PS4 games on it, everything looks cleaner, the game responds faster and everything overall is better. I still wish they would give us more internal storage.

Fantastic console. I bought primarily to play Spider-Man and am excited about the many other games that will be coming out. The controller is fantastic and has features I have never seen on any other console. Be wary of where you put it as it can produce a lot of heat. If there is nowhere for it to escape then the console fans will become quite loud and the area around it will be very warm. I ended up buying the vertical stand for mine since it better fit the less-compact space I had to put it in to reduce heat.

This was a Christmas gift for my son. It’s the 1st PlayStation he’s owned but has played on previous models and says the 5 is amazing! The graphics are better, great controller, the slim console is a plus and all around a better system. He loves it! Definitely worth purchasing!

Wow! First time owning a Playstation. After having spent sometime at Best Buy talking over it with the very knowledge staff. I applied for a Best Buy credit card and was granted credit right there on the spot! I used the card to not only purchase my new PS 5, I also got a great deal on a home theater sound system to complement and enhance my gaming experience. If you haven't had the Playstation experience, and not sure if you want to, I can say as a gamer from the 80's and this being my first time owning a Playstation I am so impressed and couldn't be happier! Easy to set up and navigate through its good to familiarize yourself with the menu, settings and controller options. Most of these have easy to follow in-game tutorials and support. The DualSense Wireless Controller fits nicely in your hands and has many features, (I played through the Astro's PLAYROOM tutorial, that was pre-installed with my PS5 console) Super fun and easy to interact with, you'll be surprised and amazed by the many functions of this controller designed to give you the ultimate gaming experience! The PS5 Console looks amazing. Out of the box it has white detachable face plates which can be swapped out for different designs and colors, (I changed mine to Black) Most come with the standard features and products like power cords, USB cables. (Check your box for details) Knowing how to take on and off the face plate will help with cleaning and general maintenance. I have my PS5 Horizontal in a dust free area, and it looks great and fits right in. For my first gaming experience I chose the game Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered for the PS5. Playing this game on an Olde screen really puts you into another world. You can tell a lot of care went into the game, as some of the details are stunning. I often stop just to watch the sunset. With the controller rumbling and pushing out sound effects from the game just puts you even deeper into this beautiful colored and vibrant world. But no matter the experience you're looking for Im sure you'll find it here with the PS5 Slim Console! Enjoy the future of Gaming!

Bought it open box, great condition and runs amazing. Shipped very quickly. Only thing is there was some wear on the controller (the indent on the sticks that happen over time from the stick rubbing against the controller) but I'm pretty sure that's an issue that would require a new controller instead of being able to fix it. Runs like new tho! If you are looking for a PS5 it's a steal.

I bought this for my younger son as a Christmas present to replace his aging Playstation 4. He is an avid gamer along with many of his friends and loved his Playstation 4. He'd been using it since new (with the original hard drive too!) but it was clearly showing its age. I did some research and settled on this mid-tier Playstation 5 with an internal optical drive. He has many games on physical media so this was the clear chaoice. He opened this on Christmas Eve and connected to our home network immediately. The system had to update itself by downloading the available patches and then he spent time loading the games he plays. Throughout the whole process you can tell this is a well engineered and well built system. The download times continuously exceeded what was indicated on screen and all his games load amazingly fast. While it was a pricey upgrade it was worth doing because he uses the system every day. On a side note he also installed the relevant apps from the store to watch YouTube and Netflix right from his P/S 5. So if you or your child is a gamer and prefers the Playstation to the Xbox grab one today! You will not be disappointed!
