Love my new playstation 6! Works great and looks very nice!

Every new console is getting better and better on graphics and performance but every time the games are too heavy and takes longer and longer to download even with the disk. I can recommend it for pretty much everything but just be aware of paying for what you want

I purchased this PS5 before Thanksgiving 2024 at the regular price using my Best Buy credit card. I knew they would have upcoming sales and I could get a price adjustment without having to deal with the Black Friday shopping. After the price dropped, I was able to easily go on the app and request the sale price. My credit card was quickly reimbursed the difference and I didn’t even have to go into the store. My son loves his PS5 and plays it daily and I loved the convenience and great deal Best Buy provided for my Christmas shopping.

​I bought this PS5 for my three sons, and they are completely obsessed. The speed and incredible graphics are a huge upgrade. Since we got it, they've definitely been choosing the PS5 over their Nintendo Switches. The DualSense controller is a game-changer for immersion. A must-buy for a gaming household!

I wanted to buy a second console to have for another room, I saw this deal for an open box item with excellent condition. It was essentially $100 off of the asking price. I’m really impressed with the quality, even though it’s open box, it still looks and plays like new. I saved a bunch of money by buying open box and will definitely look at that again if I ever decide to have a secondary console in the future.

Device is perfect but the company (Sony) sucks the fun out of these games. In old days you buy a game for $69 and use to play 100% of it. Nowadays in order to suck more money out of the customers buying the console and the games are NOT enough but you have to become a member and then purchase extra stuff with more money. It's like buying a car and after paying for it dealership is asking you if you want the tires with it too, because if you do they are extra. When I buy a game I buy it because I want to play with the game and not with another person online in another continent. I understand if the developers add that feature as an additional benefit... But why in order to play 80% to 100% of the games I have to have high speed online connection?

The game works amazing, I got mine from best buy and everyone at home enjoys the game , super easy to set up, also makes family bonding as everyone enjoys while playing the game together, we play the game all the time amd have amazing famiy and friends fun time . Kids , parents, grandparents everyone is so in love with the game.

This Ghost Cipher Special Edition controller looks amazing with its transparent design and gold D-pad. It feels comfortable, super responsive, and works perfectly across Xbox, PC, and cloud gaming. A great mix of style and performance!

It's a much better version than the previous ps5. It looks better, runs faster and there is more storage space. I am loving it so far. The only fault I have found is with the controller, the circle button is sticking a little.

Wish there was a USB type-A on the front, but thats the only functionality issue I have with the hardware. As far as software, I'm not a fan of the menu. The GUI is a bit of a mess. the rows are not intuitive and its cumbersome to get to the things you want to get to. The PS3 had the best GUI and each generation seems to be getting worse. I also noticed how poorly integrated headphone volume is integrated. I was co-oping Bloodborne with a friend and had earbuds plugged into the controller. it is constant work trying to get the game volume and party volume balanced. I would have to manually change the game volume so it doesnt overpower the voice chat. Also, on PS4, if I was playing bloodborne and used the spotify app, the game music would automatically mute (a nice detail!). However, this feature appears to be lost on PS5 or perhaps it only works with certain PS5 games. The performance is obviously leagues ahead of the PS4 so no issues with running games. Its also easy to transfer saves from a PS4 to a PS5 with just a flashdrive. Overall, The UI and functionality is worse than the PS4, but performance is obviously leagues ahead, and I like the controller more.

Strong performance! Expandable storage even after 1TB is greatly welcome! Best to keep device in open space with easy ventilation to address heating issues.

Works great love it good picture loads fast and good games

I am a lifelong PlayStation owner and I really love the size and profile of the machine. I really wanted to be able to use the discs from my PS4 so I’m glad that my local store had this version in stock. Good quality picture. Easy to set up and use. Great machine.

Got this for my boyfriend he loveessss it it’s nice and sleek. I love this newer version!!!! The mic and speaker on the controller is super good!! So much fun games and entertainment! I just hope they add the feature to change the background screen like they had with ps4. Overall I love the ps5

The PS5 totally blew me away. Games load super fast, the graphics look amazing, and the DualSense controller is honestly a game changer—it really makes you feel more connected to what’s happening on screen. Switching between games and apps is smooth, and the exclusive titles make it even more worth it. I’ve been having a blast with it!
