I was debating about purchasing a PS5 for a long time, and I waited until the price was reasonable enough. With everything that has been going on with the supply questions, I decided to make the leap. The PS5 is exactly as advertised, and I am amazed by its loading speed compared to the PS4. I highly recommend purchasing an external charger for the dual shock controller. It will make charging easier, since the UBS cord isn't very long.

Sleek design, productivity is next level. Graphics are very realistic.

Great purchase. Excellent graphics with an extensive game catalog. I chose the disc version which allowed me to play previous titles from ps4. The 1TB is great for digital gaming as I can play os portal fe my console while away from home. Overall, very satisfied with my purchase.

Spme things are different, and some are the same. The menu is hard to figure out. Too bad I didn't know that my dynamic themes would not work. I miss the one I purchased on my PS4. However, the PS5 is faster with loading. A pro is only better if you have a 4k tv. I don't. The PSN store still has issues loading. I have noticed quite a bit of lag that I didn't have on the PS4. The connections with other players are better. I just wanted to upgrade before these got expensive again. If it weren't for the worries of obtaining better peer to peer connections, I wouldn't really want to upgrade. Elden Ring wasn't letting is connect using PS4 to PS5 and vice-versa. So that's resolved. We haven't been able to connect since December 2024 updates. Sony never addressed it. I'm still not sure if the upgrade was worthwhile outside of that.

My son just got this PS5 and I have enjoyed watching and playing along with him. The form factor was surprisingly large coming from a ps4 slim, so be aware it is quite a bit larger. The initial sound when starting a game is quite loud as well, but it’s much quieter once underway. The initial loading process for the games takes a good bit of time, but everything launches quickly on all subsequent plays. The controller changes are noticeable and impressive. Overall, happy with the purchase and the strides forward over the previous version.

I bought this for my grandson as a present. This system works great and he loves it. Best part about it is the game system plays all his other games from his older PlayStation 4. Great purchase and the member services were very knowledgeable while helping me.

I got this for my boyfriend & I'm so glad that I did, what an incredible game console. I can't wait to get him the dual sense remote so he can play with his friends

Oh my goodness. They are so happy with it. They play every evening and I enjoy watching them play. They tell me that the graphics are better than PC and I must say that I agree. There is no lag. They said that it gives them way more control over their characters. I am extremely pleased with this gaming system.

Have really enjoyed the PS5 and the disk has been handy for some older games. I use it primarily with GT7 and the visuals and sound are great. I originally used it with the dual sense controller which made racing possible and enjoyable with the controller. Recently added a wheel to add to the experience. I do wish it had more storage because if you are a big gamer, you will quickly run out of room and will need to add a 2nd drive.

I’m using it for almost for five months and never had any problems. I have a version with disc but I also never used that option always purchase all my games through PlayStation store. I thought it will be cheaper to buy used games from marketplace but in store they usually have discounts so obviously it’s better to purchase them there. I’m becoming addicted to this console. This is my first console and I really like it. My wife bought me it as a gift on my birthday. Works perfectly.

Worth it for the PlayStation game catalog and modern ps5 games, especially if like me, you've never owned a PlayStation before. However it comes only with a horizontal stand and not a vertical stand. It'd be nice if both were included to allow for both positions.

I was able to buy a new ps5 so I was going to buy elsewhere but Bestbuy was faster and had what I wanted in-stock which was the ps5 slim with a controller I wanted in a different color.

Works incredibly well. I haven't played a console since the original wii, so my opinion may be screwed, but its performance and storage, as well as cross platform and device connectivity is amazing.

Purchased this PS5 open box for a great price and ended up buying another for my son about a week later because his was damaged and needed to be replaced. The open box price was about the same as what it would have cost me to ship off the old one to be officially diagnosed and repaired. I had a few issues with system errors trying to place the order online but customer service did a great job of helping me resolve the problem and I was overall very happy with it this purchase. Everything was in great condition and is fully covered under warranty. I even bought an extra games, a controller, and a charger with some of the money I saved on this deal!

I recently upgraded from my PS4, and I'm really glad I did. Of games that were just PS5. Most of the games that are on the market right now. I already own for the PS4. So I figured why bother. But Best buy gave me a good credit deal during the holidays and I bought this and a TV. I'm having a blast with the PS5 even though I'm playing some of the same games. I'm replaying Ghost of Tsushima from the start after I've already beaten it on the PS4. It's even more beautiful. I'm playing God of war Ragnarok which is awesome. The haptic feedback controllers alone are worth the price of admission. I really enjoy the feedback I get in the R2/L2 buttons on my racing games. Bought a couple new games, they kind of suck, but I'm still glad I upgraded. I just hope they start making some good original games again. Seems like covid killed that. The graphics are excellent. I PC gamed for years until the PS3, which was a step down, but my son became old enough to play games. The PS4 has pretty good graphics. But this PS5 is the first time I've seen really strong graphics on a console. It looks great, especially on a Sony OLED TV.
