Replacing my PS4. What a difference the PS5 makes! I am not a real experienced game player so when I "die" and game has to reload the last checkpoint the PS4 took a long time. With the new PS5, within second I am right back into dying over and over aging without the long wait to reload my games. Graphics are also much better and make game play more fluid. The extra money for the disk version allows me to take advantage of playing PS4 games, and is also needed to play PS4 games that have free upgrade to PS5 version.

The PS5 is everything I hoped for and more. Lightning-fast load times, gorgeous graphics, and buttery-smooth gameplay make it feel like a true next-gen leap. Games like Spider-Man 2, Final Fantasy XVI, and Demon’s Souls look and play absolutely incredible. I'm very happy with this purchase! I have had my ps4 for a very long time and it was so slow I needed an upgrade. The ps5 is super fast and the graphics are a much-needed improvement! My only problem with it is it tends to get noisy, and the fans are not as optimized as they should be, it gets really hot.

He'd been using it since new (with the original hard drive too!) but it was clearly showing its age. I did some research and settled on this mid-tier Playstation 5 with an internal optical drive. He has many games on physical media so this was the clear chaoice. He opened this on Christmas Eve and connected to our home network immediately. The system had to update itself by downloading the available patches and then he spent time loading the games he plays. Throughout the whole process you can tell this is a well engineered and well built system. The download times continuously exceeded what was indicated on screen and all his games load amazingly fast. While it was a pricey upgrade it was worth doing because he uses the system every day. On a side note he also installed the relevant apps from the store to watch YouTube and Netflix right from his P/S 5. So if you or your child is a gamer and prefers the Playstation to the Xbox grab one today! You will not be disappointed!

Ps5 digital is a sweet deal but went with the disc version so I can let my little bro dust off my ps4 games! Unfortunately, not the ps3 games, but all the same I can recycle my childhood and he can add to his. As an advid PC gamer, I often find myself choosing PS5 for larger titles as most largely marketed games seem to be optimized for PS5 for graphics and performance. Could use more storage capacity but there are memory accessories for those who need it. Stock setup I can download about 4-5 large games at once.

Purchased last month as I wanted to upgrade from the ps4 pro , I’m very happy with the ps5 so far it works flawlessly the game graphics are incredible the system is fast it’s very easy to learn to navigate the options. I picked up the media remote as well from play station it’s a nice option for control of the ps5 . The shape of the console is weird to me but oh well designers have a plan I guess .i would say it needs more storage from the factory 1TB is decent but you’ll definitely have to upgrade to accommodate multiple games .
