The PS5 is quicker, sleeker and prettier. Gaming has become fun once again because of this lovely system.

Games take forever downloading and constantly want updates, and some require you to be hooked to internet constantly and set up additional accounts with a third party. PS2 you put a game in and it's ready. Graphics are good but they don't mean that much to me. Need a better variety of game types. With today's technology they need to work to make it completely compatible with all discs from PS1 on up and not just make them down loadable so you have to repay for your old games. Please let us customize joysticks not just switch them left to right. All that said I'm enjoying the console, being able to play games that arein my ps4 in the basement on my ps5 over wifi is cool.the motion control and sounds from the controllers make the experience better. And the games i bought for it are lots of fun, ff7 rebirth is the reson I bought the PS5.

This is such an improvement over the PS4 in both graphics and performance. I would have given an “Excellent” but the fact the unit does not come with the stand knocked it down a notch.

My brother died 5 years ago from muscular dystrophy. He had always been a playstation fan ever since the first one 30 years ago. We had been anticipating buying the PS5 for years. It took me many years after his passing to buy it but now that i finally have I absolutely love it and its allowed to somewhat heal.

The speed and graphics are an improvement. I've had every generation of PS consoles. It seems like they stepped up their game from the PS4. I also like the fact you can continue to play DVDs and blue rays on it as well.

Device is perfect but the company (Sony) sucks the fun out of these games. In old days you buy a game for $69 and use to play 100% of it. Nowadays in order to suck more money out of the customers buying the console and the games are NOT enough but you have to become a member and then purchase extra stuff with more money. It's like buying a car and after paying for it dealership is asking you if you want the tires with it too, because if you do they are extra. When I buy a game I buy it because I want to play with the game and not with another person online in another continent. I understand if the developers add that feature as an additional benefit... But why in order to play 80% to 100% of the games I have to have high speed online connection?

Lets be honest, I'm 60+ year old guy and I bought myself a Playstation 5 to play racing games. I enjoy racing. And the Playstation has delivered. I've only played three different racing games so far, and it's FANTASTIC! So, even if you're an old guy like me, the Playstation 5 can give you a thrill.
