I bought this PS5 to play Where Winds Meet and I am, incredibly surprised by the amount of storage this console has. I love the 3D sound feature which totally elevates the sound experience. So far my games have run smoothly.

I checked Target, GameStop, and even looked at ordering online, but the delivery times were showing about a week, and I was too excited to wait that long. After some searching, I noticed that Best Buy had same-day pickup available at a location about 30 miles from me. I made the drive, and honestly, it was worth it. The pickup process couldn’t have been easier. It took me less than five minutes in the store to get my PS5 along with an additional controller. The staff was helpful, organized, and made the whole experience smooth from start to finish. The console itself is amazing. Setting it up was simple, and I’ve been enjoying every minute of gaming since. Really happy with this console. Switched over to PlayStation from Xbox, and I’m really glad I did. For story-mode games, I think PlayStation edges out with some incredible games. Spider Man, Horizon Zero Dawn, and Uncharted have all been fantastic to play with the latest graphics and high speed frame rates. Looking at getting Ghost of Yotei soon as well, which would look incredible on the PS5. To get the most out of the PS5, it helps to have a good enough monitor/TV that can support the higher frame rate (at least 60 fps) and resolution (around 3K-4K), especially for story mode games with good cinematic gameplay. If you can get this on sale ($450), like I did, this console is a great find. I prefer the disc version just so I can play the older games easier, but if the budget is tight, digital only is a solid choice too.

Exciting playing games again on a system that is so well planned out. Graphics are great and enough storage to keep enough media without worrying about space. I am just getting started but so far so good.

It works very good, the graphics are incredible. It also runs so smoothly. This console is by far the best console I’ve ever played on. Way better than Xbox. I was on Xbox and converted to a ps5 which is the best choice I’ve ever made.

Great quality just needed to upgrade memory…. Love that it’s slimmer and saves more space but still has the same power as the first version … it’s two type c ports instead of usb and type c for front ports but I can tell Sony is just keeping up with times

I’ve been using the PS5 for a while now and it’s been amazing. The graphics are beautiful, games load super fast, and the controller feels great in hand. Definitely one of the best gaming purchases I’ve made.

I'm happy with my purchase of the PS5. The graphics and overall operation of it are better than the PS4 and PS4 Pro I. had. The only issue I have is a minor one. Having to find the power off button or closing out a game after I'm done. This is an annoyance I have with tech in general. The new software update on my iPhone 16 presents a similar problem; the setup to find what you need is split up. You have to hunt to find what you need. I prefer a simpler interface to find what apps or settings I need. This isn't a knock on anyone in particular, it's a personal preference.

Got the PS5 for a Christmas gift…was easy to place the order online and get it picked up at the store. Nephew is the gamer and he has told me it is pretty awesome with the better speed and graphics.
