I had been trying for a while to find a PlayStation 5. I checked Target, GameStop, and even looked at ordering online, but the delivery times were showing about a week, and I was too excited to wait that long. After some searching, I noticed that Best Buy had same-day pickup available at a location about 30 miles from me. I made the drive, and honestly, it was worth it. The pickup process couldn’t have been easier. It took me less than five minutes in the store to get my PS5 along with an additional controller. The staff was helpful, organized, and made the whole experience smooth from start to finish. The console itself is amazing. Setting it up was simple, and I’ve been enjoying every minute of gaming since. The performance, the graphics, and the overall feel of the DualSense controller are on another level compared to older consoles. I really appreciate the way Best Buy handled this purchase. I went from just thinking about buying a PS5 to actually playing on one the very same day, without the stress of waiting for shipping or dealing with long in-store hassles. My satisfaction level after this purchase is honestly very high. Highly recommend Best Buy if you’re trying to get your hands on a PS5 their same-day pickup made all the difference for me.

Really happy with this console. Switched over to PlayStation from Xbox, and I’m really glad I did. For story-mode games, I think PlayStation edges out with some incredible games. Spider Man, Horizon Zero Dawn, and Uncharted have all been fantastic to play with the latest graphics and high speed frame rates. Looking at getting Ghost of Yotei soon as well, which would look incredible on the PS5. To get the most out of the PS5, it helps to have a good enough monitor/TV that can support the higher frame rate (at least 60 fps) and resolution (around 3K-4K), especially for story mode games with good cinematic gameplay. If you can get this on sale ($450), like I did, this console is a great find. I prefer the disc version just so I can play the older games easier, but if the budget is tight, digital only is a solid choice too.

Exciting playing games again on a system that is so well planned out. Graphics are great and enough storage to keep enough media without worrying about space. I am just getting started but so far so good.

Great quality just needed to upgrade memory…. Love that it’s slimmer and saves more space but still has the same power as the first version … it’s two type c ports instead of usb and type c for front ports but I can tell Sony is just keeping up with times

It works very good, the graphics are incredible. It also runs so smoothly. This console is by far the best console I’ve ever played on. Way better than Xbox. I was on Xbox and converted to a ps5 which is the best choice I’ve ever made.

I’ve been using the PS5 for a while now and it’s been amazing. The graphics are beautiful, games load super fast, and the controller feels great in hand. Definitely one of the best gaming purchases I’ve made.

I'm happy with my purchase of the PS5. The graphics and overall operation of it are better than the PS4 and PS4 Pro I. had. The only issue I have is a minor one. Having to find the power off button or closing out a game after I'm done. This is an annoyance I have with tech in general. The new software update on my iPhone 16 presents a similar problem; the setup to find what you need is split up. You have to hunt to find what you need. I prefer a simpler interface to find what apps or settings I need. This isn't a knock on anyone in particular, it's a personal preference.

Got the PS5 for a Christmas gift…was easy to place the order online and get it picked up at the store. Nephew is the gamer and he has told me it is pretty awesome with the better speed and graphics.

This is an awesome product. Functions well. Speed is great. I would recommend this product.

I bought/pre-ordered the ps5 when it was released, we used it allot for i think 3 yrs and then the disc reading laser crapped out. We've had this happen with both the ps3 and ps4 models that's why we bought a separate sony bluray player to watch movies on because we also watch allot of movies and TV series on bluray and dvd, we thought that was putting a strain on the laser. But they all eventually crapped out. I owned 2 different ps3s and 4 different ps4s over the years cuz they just die if you play games all the time. The ps5 is a superb machine, this is the second I've owned and i loved it since the beginning. The controllers are great totally designed great for holding and playing long amounts of time. It does get a little hot so you have to regularly Clean the dust out of the fans/ vents so it doesn't get too hot.

The PlayStation 5 is a great concert, so it looks great. It plays great. It'\n S just overall, a great console, you can watch blu-ray and DVD movies. I love how I can access my movie collection. The controller feels amazing way better than Nintendo switch. Like the original controller for the PS5, unlike Nintendo switch i love how the controller has a touch screen. And I like the color of the PlayStation 5 i just got one question for it.Why does it look like a wifi router i don't mean it has to complain, but why does it look like that? But is a overall great console that people should buy, great games, as well.

I love my Ps5 and I got the price before the price changes and Best Buy always has my back with me being a total member.
