I recently got my hands on the PS5, and I must say, it's an impressive piece of technology! The design is sleek and modern, fitting perfectly into my entertainment setup. The performance is outstanding, with incredibly fast load times and stunning graphics that truly bring games to life. The DualSense controller is a game-changer, offering immersive haptic feedback and adaptive triggers that enhance the gaming experience. However, there are a few minor drawbacks. The storage space can fill up quickly, especially with the size of modern games, and the console can be a bit bulky and no native BT for headset. Despite these small issues, the PS5 delivers an exceptional gaming experience that makes it worth every penny. Overall, I'd give it a solid 4.5 stars!

Replacing my PS4. What a difference the PS5 makes! I am not a real experienced game player so when I "die" and game has to reload the last checkpoint the PS4 took a long time. With the new PS5, within second I am right back into dying over and over aging without the long wait to reload my games. Graphics are also much better and make game play more fluid. The extra money for the disk version allows me to take advantage of playing PS4 games, and is also needed to play PS4 games that have free upgrade to PS5 version.

This PS5 Slim is a whole experience. It’s sleek, fast, and the graphics are unreal. My man is addicted, I barely see him now. It loads quick, stays cool, and takes gaming to the next level. If you’re thinking about buying it, just know. You might lose your man to Call of Duty haha!

finally upgraded to the PS5 Slim and I couldn't be happier. The reduced size makes a huge difference in my media center, and it runs incredibly quiet even during intense gaming sessions. I bought this for my younger son as a Christmas present to replace his aging Playstation 4. He is an avid gamer along with many of his friends and loved his Playstation 4. He'd been using it since new (with the original hard drive too!) but it was clearly showing its age. I did some research and settled on this mid-tier Playstation 5 with an internal optical drive. He has many games on physical media so this was the clear chaoice. He opened this on Christmas Eve and connected to our home network immediately. The system had to update itself by downloading the available patches and then he spent time loading the games he plays. Throughout the whole process you can tell this is a well engineered and well built system. The download times continuously exceeded what was indicated on screen and all his games load amazingly fast. While it was a pricey upgrade it was worth doing because he uses the system every day. On a side note he also installed the relevant apps from the store to watch YouTube and Netflix right from his P/S 5. So if you or your child is a gamer and prefers the Playstation to the Xbox grab one today! You will not be disappointed!

Been a gamer all my life (console/desktop). Had the supernes in the 90's and PS1 in the early 2000's, not owning PS2, PS3, PS4. I've been playing mostly desktop games since my dad sold the PS1. Last year purchased the PS5 slim w/ COD bundle to treat my self and since then I have been playing games from PS5. I played D4 on PS5 which I used to play on desktop. The beauty with this is PS5 had high resolution and smooth quality. With my desktop it varies (crashing/lag etc...). Goodbye desktop games for now. I am happy with my PS5. Now with an upgraded 2T m.2 ssd, I'm happier!

Like the size the clarity of the games and not heavy at all just perfectly fit for my boyfriend perfectly he was really happy and play all the time

Fantastic console. I bought primarily to play Spider-Man and am excited about the many other games that will be coming out. The controller is fantastic and has features I have never seen on any other console. Be wary of where you put it as it can produce a lot of heat. If there is nowhere for it to escape then the console fans will become quite loud and the area around it will be very warm. I ended up buying the vertical stand for mine since it better fit the less-compact space I had to put it in to reduce heat.

The console is great, especially for someone like me who stuck with the PS4 for a long time. After about a year of owning it, it’s been really nice to finally experience the upgrade, especially when paired with a TV that can take advantage of the system’s specs. One thing to note is the fan noise. If the console doesn’t have good ventilation around the panel vents, it can get pretty loud. I ended up moving mine to a better-ventilated spot so it wouldn’t overheat. I also bought it before the $100 price increase, so the value felt even better at the time. Game selection will always depend on personal taste, but I’ve enjoyed the titles I’ve played so far and hope others can find games they enjoy as well. Just be aware that some games take up a lot of storage (looking at you, Call of Duty). If you plan to play a lot of big AAA titles, you might eventually want to invest in extra storage with a few terabytes of space.
