I loved the idea of sony getting into the retro gaming market. That is where the love ends. I was ok with a limited number of games because there are several that were so awesome back in the hay day. Where this falls super flat is that the majority of the games i was most intrested in are not of the North american compatible edition. Slow response rate and the graphics are so painful to look at. Dont waste your money go with the NES or SNES mini systems.

Games are so so... I would've like to seen games that are not offered in the mobile platform... dissappointing. The games are buggy as well

Terrible emulation, poor games list and no dualshock. Even on sale this isn't worth the money.

There is a reason why this console is 40% off just a month after it's release, it's because it's terrible. The game selection (who decided these random PS1 games represented the best of that era???), the emulation of those games (slow framerates, screen tearing, and poorly implemented), and the absurd price tag all equate to a failure out of the gate. What were you thinking Sony?

Why oh why sony did you release this in this state? Its using an opensource emulator. The games are in PAL and run slow. No dual shock joysticks. The menu is horrible and plain. No options to fix the blockiness of the old 4:3 games. How about a scan line fix? No Crash bandicoot. No Parasite Eve. Not worth $99. Get something else.

Despite many reviews, I really liked this console as it let me play some of the top PSP games from back in the day when Sony revolutionized gaming. Highly recommended!

Unless you know you want this, you know what you are getting yourself into. If you are wondering if someone on your Christmas list might like it, they won't. Not recommended for anyone. I pre-ordered it, and will be returning it because its a total money grab, no value in it at all. I have been happy with my NES and SNES Classic, but this is just overpriced and not even nostalgia will be enough here.

No wonder the price went down, mine stopped working after a week. I'm a huge Sony fan too, this was a major disappointment. Very cheaply built product. The game selection wasn't the best either.

They market this as the classic games from a "game changing era" when they do not even have EVEN ONE Crash Bandicoot game on here. PASS....

Ok from a longtime Sony Playstation Fan, this Toy is a Big Let Down. So Bad I returned it to the Store. I still own my PS1,PS2,PS3 and the PS3 Plays PS1 Games Great, and it has a HDMI Connection so, If anything go buy a good used PS3 to play the PS 1 Games. This thing spits and sputters like crazy. I have heard that the Emulators you can download online does a better job than this and this is from the OE company. and no Analog Controllers, Really Sony.

The games choice is not even the games considered to be, "classics," for the system, and there are a lot of features missing in comparison to other systems. You will be better off investing in a Raspberry Pi

The games are bad in the PS station. Not interesting. I bought this one for collection, but I found it is worthless to collect.

DO NOT BUY THIS DO NOT SUPPORT THIS. Buying a real Ps1 (is dirt cheap) and playing a game on there WILL LOOK BETTER than what is being emulated here. Please read up on this product.

I'm a huge fan of Playstation , I mean huge and this system makes Sony look bad. I purchased this item as a collectors item.

After buying both Nintendo classic systems and loving them, I was excited for this. The game list is ridiculous and nothing worth playing. Seeing how many people have had issues with this made me glad I did not waste my money.

That is the only reason. PAL for 8 of the games. Bad choice.

I hope Sony now realizes they can't pull a lazy quick cash grab, without some quality control. This could have been an amazing classic console, instead it reeks of thoughtless lazy development and obvious greed.
