The pre-loaded game selection is lackluster at best. The controllers are wired which sucks. With a $20.00 pricetag, it becomes much more appealing considering you can have fun modding the system and add a ton of (already, legally owned) games. Adding an aftermarket dongle will allow you to play with whatever controller you prefer.

This brings me back to when I was younger. Not sure why Sony decided to use some PAL versions of games for an NTSC market.

This is an ok item. Should have waited for price to come down. Didn’t have the best games from original version. Some Games shouldn’t have been on there

As is, the PlayStation Classic is a failure of a retro micro console. There are only 20 games, not all of them are indicative of the best of the PSX platform, and some even playback at 50 fps. However, this is fairly easy to hack with just a USB thumb drive, so adding more games is easy and makes for a far more enjoyable experience.

I think the build quality is good but the game selection really could have been much better. Instead of using the best games of a series they choose to use the first game of the series. Also a few games are using the pal version which is a very bad quality control. There is still a few good game so its not a complete waste.

there are some great classics on here but I wish they added a few more. not having a power cable hurts too even though its a common type of power cord.

Fun lil box to play all the classics like before -- USB connections make it easier. Adjust and expect short cables, so you may want another controller.

Picked this up during a sale and was a good purchase. Wish it had more games but remember playing most of the games included when I was a kid.

Fun a few good games. Wish there were additional games and expandability to the system. Why make a closed system, I would buy bundles of games.

I've seen negative reviews regarding PS classic but I enjoyed playing this. The lineup was missing a few important titles but not bad at all.

This is great, easy to hook up and a great time to play. The games are all great and i have had no issues

The worst mini console for one of the all time great video game systems ever made. Selection of games is pretty well done, it has Metal Gear Solid, FF7 and Resident Evil. Although the way the games run and its frame per second is absolutely offensive and just downright terrible. I don't know how European gamers played these versions of great games. Even at 20 dollars it's still not worth your money or time. If you are going to mod the system and put in the proper version of each game, then it's worth it. The only positive I can think of are the two controllers that come with the system, very well made and the Dpad feels great. Also the box is very nice for display. Other than that, stay away from this garbage mini system.

Everyone giving this console low ratings are right in the gaming perspective. I haven’t opened it for that same purpose because it might not be worth as a gaming console along side the Nintendo ones, BUT as a collectors item -the reason I bought it- it’s perfect! For the discounted price of $60 yeah sure buy it if you want but at $100 for the games itself.. it’s a no for me. 5 stars for the addition to my collection but 1 star for its console capabilities.

Mine is still in the box as I collect all the mini consoles but from I have seen, is still a good bargain if you pay less than 50$

Love the PS Classic. Good games, although it was missing some of the ones I loved during childhood. Also the price was a little expensive but that was on Sony not directly bestbuy. Best buy once again did a great job of stocking this and making it available to me when this was first desired by so many

I got this on sale for 20$ So I could play Persona. Be sure you have a compatible USB keyboard to access a menu to turn off PAL formatting.

The PS Classic seems like a rushed product - garbage emulation and video quality (especially compared to Nintendo's retro consoles) and only 20 games. I bought this at $60, which seemed kind of high at face value - even more ridiculous at $99. It has potential only because of the lower price point combined with its alleged hackability.

Totally awesome! I feel like a kid again playing all these classic games!

This this is fun and a nice package of nostalgia if you can get it for under $40. Paying over that would probably feel like a ripoff though.
